The problem isn't that some people are pro-life... but that to women who have had abortions, being called "baby killer" and "slut" (which some pro-lifers do actually do) is quite disturbing and emotionally upsetting. Those moderators wanted to avoid such animosity brewing.
Of course.
And if people like that appear, the should receive permenant/semi-permenant bans.
But the forum is for young mothers, not young abortion-receivers. I don't know if you've read any of their forums or not, but one of the threads involves a woman that people are upset with because she refers to her -wanted fetus- as an unborn child.
She wasn't insulting anyone. All she did was say that -the fetus living inside her that she loved and wanted to keep- was an unborn child, and she didn't even say it in a public way; It was part of a poem that she posted.
We have, of course, no problem with them wanting to keep out people who are going to cast stones. We do have problems with them limiting the allowable viewpoints to their own.
