My best friend has been depressed lately. I asked her why, and she wouldn't tell me. She told someone to tell me something. I'll post it here.
"well one reason im upset and i find it hard to tell her is im really used to being just her "best friend" but.. then her friend from grade 1 has started hanging out with us..i know im probably just a jealous freak or something but they're always talking about them..whenever im with them i feel disencluded and hurt,, i wanna just leave but ..yea..its like they dont know im there...i hate it and i wanna tell her but i cant .....last year me and her and a girl named alexis used to hang out..but steph didnt like her..just tell her thats how i feel now ..its like danielle and kelsey and stupid haley..just..tell her all that later and that it realy hurts me..and i feel almost sick when im around them..i just dont like it and i dont want them to start changing cuz of that..i dont want to hang out with them anymore.. "
i don't want her to feel left out. Shes my best friend and I could never replace her. Shes like my sister. She doesn't understand she means alot to me. How can I make it so shes doesn't feel so left out?

I would suggest trying to spend more time with just her. Just the two of you. At school and/or after are both good times. Just make sure she feels special and you express how much you really do care.

I agree with Chalda. Just have you or you and her, and your core group of friends, hang out with her instead of always having new people with as well. Hopefully she's just being insecure, and you guys aren't really ignoring her - though it wouldn't hurt to take a step back and really think about the whole situation, and where she's coming from.
