It was midnight, and Darcy was starting to get impatient. The girl had a darker skin tone and orange-hair. She leaned back onto her rock, and crossed her legs. Her brother just shook his head. The two were waiting for a woman named Marissa. Their meeting spot may not have been the most common place to meet--the Durem Caves. The weather

"Are you sure Jaella had the right house?" She questioned.

"Let's wait a little longer." Her brother replied calmly. "She'll be here. Jaella has never failed us yet."

The twins exchanged looks, before Darcy went over to meet her. "Nice to meet you.. Marissa, I think?" She asked politely, holding out her hand to be shaken. She bent down, and looked at the woman's stomach. "Nice to meet you too, little one. Perfect in everyway, just as we planned."

Aaron frowned slightly, this seemed familar. 'Hopefully, this one won't be so surprised..' he thought. "I apologize if my sister's confused you." He said, looking to the woman. "My name is Aaron, and this is my sister, Darcy."

Darcy exchanged a look with her brother. "You never wondered how you became pregnant?" The twelve year old asked with a raised eyebrow. "We'd recieved word that you weren't seeing anyone--are you going to tell me that our informant was wrong?"

Aaron sighed. "What my sister means to say is, that you've been blessed." Yes, blessed was the word. If he had said 'experimented on' he would have sounded like his sister.

"Maybe it's best not to go into how.." Aaron started. His sister was looking thoughtfully at him. As if she wanted to interrupt. He decided to hurry, so she wouldn't have the chance. "You've been blessed. There is no need to fear. Your child will be born strong and healthy. There have been some reports of.." He frowned slightly, he'd almost said something Darcyish.

"Power." Darcy finished for him. "Magical powers. There have only been two other women so far, and one of them hasn't given birth yet. When she does, we will know whether or not the elf's twins were a fluke."

"It is true." Aaron said with a nod, cutting off his sister before she could say anything. "Your child may have the same powers--perhaps different. Hers were unique. They were not made by--" He fell silent. He'd almost said something Darcyish.

"They weren't created by the same magic yours was." Darcy finished. "We believe that all of our projects will have different abilities. Of course.. we won't know until tom.." She was interrupted.

"Until they're born." Aaron finished.

"We don't know." Said the twins in unison.

"It might be right away, it might not be. We'll know as soon as she's born. You, on the other hand.. may not. It really depends on the mannerism of your child, and what kind of ability she has recieved." Darcy tried to explain, but she wasn't doing very well. "Let us assume that you will be able to find out tomorrow."

Aaron sighed. His sister would never learn how to deal with people.

Aaron frowned. "You have a busy day tomorrow, Miss. I suggest you get some rest--in the morning, you will be quite..preoccupied." He said, trying to be as tactful as possible.

"It's special enough." Darcy said. "Your daughter's birthday. My brother is right in saying that you should get some rest. You won't have much time after sunrise."
