Okay, tonight in the Nationwide race, Joey Logano had a rookie stripe and was considered a rookie, but at every other race so far, I don't think he had a rookie stripe, and was not considered to be a rookie. Can you be a rookie at some tracks and not others?

Are you sure? I checked NASCAR.com and in the results for last night's race, they did not list him as a rookie.

Well during the race they said Rookie Joey Logano and he had a rookie stripe. Maybe they were confused? Joey ran 19 Nationwide races in 2008, which makes him ineligible for rookie status this year. confused Maybe it's because this was his first start at Darlington?

Can you be a rookie at some tracks and not others? I heard of a situation like this a few years back. DW was saying that because a guy hadn't raced at Indianapolis in a while they made him wear a rookie stripe. But in that sense, couldn't the inagural event at a track deem all drivers as inexperienced?
