Sup /k/ GGE.
So, I know "someone" who has a Mossy 500 fitted with a pistol grip and a folding stock. I know it's illegal for semi-auto shotties like a SPAS-12 to have said "monstrosities" equipped on them, but what about a pump?
Theories/facts?

Since your Mossy 500 is a tube fed fixed magazine pump shotgun, it should pass. Since the PAR-1 pump is legal (with a fixed 10 shot magazine), I don't see any real reason it would be illegal.

Floyd Since your Mossy 500 is a tube fed fixed magazine pump shotgun, it should pass. Since the PAR-1 pump is legal (with a fixed 10 shot magazine), I don't see any real reason it would be illegal. Score!

State of CA allows pump shotguns to have pistol grips/folding stocks/AR type pistol grip 6-position stocks.
I have a factory pistol grip on my M500. Planning on a Butler Creek Steel folder.
