Sensitive hard drives sold on EbayThis makes me wonder how safe we really are? As a nation we are doing in my opinion less than average at protecting our national borders from unsavory characters. As individuals we are doing even worse, personally if I could I would elect for the world to go back to the time when there weren't personal computers in every home and business. Yes this would detail a large amount of sacrifice, I think however it would be more than worth it.
We are free from our government, but we are not free from the business world. No I am not advocating for the eradication of capitalism, I still think that capitalism is the best of all known market systems. I just think everyone would be safer if the world still used ledgers, sadly of course that would sacrifice some efficiency as well. I know it is a pipe dream to wish the world would go back to ledgers barring some unfortunate circumstance, but how many of you are with me?
