Last night a friend played a CD of theirs for me and I found it singularly delightful. Not steampunk per se, but definitely neo-Victorian, with lots of gleefully dark humor. I will be tracking down this band's music forthwith!

That seems rather typical in this subforum. Just to provide a response of some sort, I'll say that I've listened to them in the past. I quite like their instrumentation, but unfortunately, the high-pitched voice just grates on my nerves.

Yes, I can see how the guy's voice might start to grate on one's nerves after a while, but that silly voice singing such mordant lyrics won me over.
