Neko narrowed his eyes at Ishira, thin strands of his chakra shooting into the surrounding forest; he was feeling out the area. He didn't seem angry or hurt, just wary.
"And the Academy has never once been my enemy, yet they send assassins and scouts to me regularly, many of them my former students, Ishira. You seem to forget our position."
Though his demeanor gave little to show emotion, a silver splotch spread across the white of his left eye. He was concerned, at the very least.

"My students are not like yours." Ishira snapped at him, letting out a growl. He was checking everything, like she wasnt trustworthy or something. Then again she didnt know why Gil was here.... Her eyes switched between the two and she shook her head. "Not everyone is our enemy and Gil hasnt been that close to the Academy in a while. He doesnt smell of the others and the Hikari would not hang around him if he was here to hurt me. "
She looked at him, placing a hand on her hip as if to challenge him. He was concerned, she could see it. As she noticed the sliver in his eyes she dropped her hand and walked to him. Her hand went to his cheek and she bit her lip. "Go rest please... You shouldnt be out here, i can take care of this..."

Speaking of students, Kwubara let out a groan as he started to come to. The first thing he did besides wonder if his head was still attached to his body was to try and cram all the air he could get into his lungs. "Ow. What happened?" He asked as he laid on the ground, not wanting to open his eyes. It would just hurt to much.

"Mm... How do you think I've stayed alive this far? You can't trust everyone you used to, especially when you're with me, and I do not need to be coddled."
Neko spoke with a nearly venomous tone, then he began to walk away, not really returning the token of affection. He glanced down at Kwubara as he began to stir, paying him little more mind than the glance. A figure cloaked in white awaited him in the nearby field, and while not apparent to many, Ishira might notice his gait showing quite a bit of pain. The silvery discoloration was still spreading.

Ishiras eyes became cold and she clenched her hand, her nails cutting into her flesh. Anger wasnt going to do any good for her but something was stirring in her. The way he talked to her wasnt so foreign but it wasnt something she expected. Her eyes went over to Gil and she sighed. Crap, he could be right, though she didnt want to think that her old student and friend would do anything to them..... She looked back at Neko her emotions getting the best of her and jumping from anger and concern. He wasnt walking or acting right and she knew it was probably due to some sort of pain.....
"I must have let my training slip, ill remember that.." Her eyes flicked down to Kwubara before she followed Neko. "You didnt miss much child. "

Kwubara quickly scampered to his feet. He had to follow the two. They did happen to be is only way out of the place. "No. What did I do? I don't remember much after starting to draw a circle." Kwubara fretted as he came level with the women. "You really shouldn't do that. Not only does it hurt but others can see that your are trying to control yourself." He said to her.
