The birds seemed stunned by the attack, and for a moment it looked as if they were going to recover. Then suddenly the birds exploded, with far more feathers and blood then their bodies should contain. Their blood was as green as their eyes, and the smell it had to it didn't bode well, seeming noxious in a way that spoke of poison, or acid, or perhaps both. The feathers sent flying loose by the self destruction were revealed to be sharpened like blades. As several left small scratches across Lina's chestplate.

Lina blinked as she noticed the scratches. "Oh... s**t" she dove back, putting both of her blades in-front of her like a barrier as the slower Ichor came to splash against the ground. She attempted to form a barrier around herself, already knowing just how well that would work with liquids, and having being staggered mentally as the rain of bladed feathers continued. "Please tell me I got them all" she asked to no-one in particular. .

Lina would find some relief in that the acid was conductive, meaning her barrier had something closer to a powersurge instead of a loss. Though how that affected her mental state while holding it together was anyone's guess.
Though the relief would be short-lived as she would find only half the birds had died in the attack. And the others circling around seemed to be spending more time building energy towards their extremely volatile suicide attack.
The ichor pooling on the ground was eating away at everything it touched, and while no life was to be found on this part of the Rai dojo the fact that enough of the birds had died to raise the level up to Lina's ankles outside the barrier spoke a great deal towards what lay in-store for her

Lina just growled deeply as she tried to focus her energy together. "Ok, Acidic blood, compressed mass at a level that implies folded space... and no life energy." She used Rai shushin to move herself into position to snatch one of the birds out of the Air. Forming a Barrier sphere around it as soon as she finished the shushin.
She glanced down towards the ground, now covered in the hot acid and grimaced. "Well, here goes nothing" she muttered as she started to push her emotions aside, a sudden chill spreading out from her body. Lina flared her aura and as she did the chill increased, though she still was free-falling from a few hundred feet.
At the last second she projected a barrier and formed her rai-skates, magnetizing one to the other in a way that slingshotted her back towards the the dojo. The acid underneath her skates freezing as the cold Aura touched it. She magnatized herself to the wall of the dojo, glancing at the Remaining birds and the one in hand

The birds nearest Lina's shushin seemed to be disrupted by her sudden appearance, and electrical discharge, and though their attacks lost the buildup they still used the suicide technique, to rain acid and shrapnel down upon Lina.
Her cold aura freezing the acid raining down before it was a problem, but still some seemed to cling to her armor and skin. The birds coming in seemed to all collectively agree as they increased their pace, aiming to attack the dojo Lina stood upon.
The bird in her hand was disoriented, but it only was going to buy her a few seconds to see exactly what the creature was before it began to build up it's non-energy in an attempt to explode.

Lina noticed the motions and quickly calculated her odds. After a moment she tapped the piece of jewelry behind one of her Draconic horns, the power stored in the dojo being released back to the lightning rods on the roof. Lina took in as much of the power as she could without her body burning out entirely then shushined away.
Her body straining to hold the bird in hand without cooking it outright even as several shocks attempted to stop it from blowing up.

A majority of the birds crashed into the dojo building. Exploding spectacularly as the flock descended, some were disoriented or disrupted by the release of electricity from the building, but those that were furthest back turned aiming to double around and finish their attack on Lina.

Lina struggled for a moment before releasing the energy she struggled to contain, forming it all into the largest, most unstable barrier she had ever created, before shoving the wall of energy forward through the oncoming birds and letting it explode once it came in contact with the trainsformers of the dojo. "Hope that doesn't come out of my pay" she muttered in an attempt at lightening her darkening mood.
"And I hope you're worth it" she said to the captured bird as she glanced at it. Sending small shocks to keep it from blowing up.
