Kasey Kahne really needs to leave Richard Petty Motorsports. They have not been giving him cars he is able to compete in and he has not been able to do crap. And his pit crew is mostly slow and always messing up something.

I think he could go to Gibbs. Gibbs are one of those teams that could throw another team together in a snap. If Kahne were suddenly on the market, I bet we'd see a fourth Joe Gibbs Racing car on the track.

I think he could go to Gibbs. Gibbs are one of those teams that could throw another team together in a snap. If Kahne were suddenly on the market, I bet we'd see a fourth Joe Gibbs Racing car on the track.

I like the idea of that. Joey Logano was to drive a 4TH Gibbs car. But after Stewart left, he had to fill in. Tells me Gibbs is ready to expand.
Wonder when Kahne's contract is up? Sounds like he wants outta there.

its over in 2010. And he said he will NOT break it and end early. And if he feels they are competitive he will resign becuase he wants to stay, he just wants to be competitive week in and week out.

I just read an article about Kahne saying he will not leaver RPM blah blah blah and somebody posted a comment on the bottom that he thinks Kahne will replace Mark Martin in the #5 car after next season. That would pretty cool too.
Though that would be weird if Bud went with him. With Kahne being the Bud man and Jr, the ex Bud man, on the same team after they split.

keselowski would get the 5 car long before kahne would. Kahne's problem is he doesn't have many options, there aren't any competitive openings unless stewart haas or gibbs goes to third or fourth car or mears gets cut from rcr.

well i think yates or woods would hope on them in a heart beat. but, penski too. keep it in the dodge family even though dodge is struggling.

Penske is doing awesome in their Dodges though. with that new engine they are competitive week in and week out. But RPM wont get it until at least Dover. They were supposed to get it in the All-Star race but that didn't happen.
And they were talking that he had an offer to race at Stewart-Haas. If he gets that offer and its for next year only before they get another driver under contract, he needs to take it and break his contract with RPM.
I don't care how much he wants to stay or how honorable he is, he needs to do it before he becomes another washout driver.
