Pyrotechnic Oracle You wish you had a computer, I wish I had a job. A job so that you could upgrade your computer though, didn't you say?

Lorysa Ava R. 1. Yay! You're the only person aside from my mother to know that!
2. This is an issue that confuses me as well. I read an article about this woman who ended up pregnant with triplets. She was trying to get pregnant, but there was a mixup with her birth control or her fertility pills or something, and they ended up making her extremely fertile. She chose to abort two of the babies, because she didn't want triplets. She felt it was okay, because, in terms of genetics, she was pregnant with an individual and a set of twins.
She was somehow able to categorize the twins as non-human but the individual one as human. I don't understand how she could do that. How can any woman classify one fetus as an actual child and be willing to carry it to term, but not another one? What makes the difference?
That kind of view is something I will probably never understand. Althought I have no clue what type of logic she told the doctor on how the twins were non-human while the single fetus was I sort of see how she would have wanted the abortion and if it's right on her terms there's quite nothing one could do about it. I guess it was a shock to her of having 3 children instead of 1 and do you even know what kind of living arrangments she was in? Do you even know what her financial states were or if she was living on the street but had found a relationship with another homeless person? All in all, her logic for what's not human and is human sounds incredibly odd but there's really nothing to do about it now sinec the twins have already been aborted.

I think part of the problem is that she was trying to get pregnant. It wasn't an accident, it wasn't birth control failure, it was her actively trying to conceive, and then when it worked, she decided to kill two of her children because she only wanted one.
It's like the difference between shooting someone for wandering into your home because the door was open and shooting someone you invite into your home.

That's why we need to make sure it doesn't happen again, so that we can make sure women can't kill anymore babies. At least, not legally. Not in this country, anyway. The financial state she was in does not give an excuse to kill, no matter what. She could have put them up for adoption, and it doesn't matter if she didn't believe in adoption, because I doubt those babies would have believed in their own mothr killing them in their most defenseless stage of life. Those poor babies... ugh, no, she had no right to kill them like that. It disgusts me.
