A spatial portal appeared silently behind Sosiqui and Carda's head appeared out of nowhere... literally.
"Sheesh, are you still out there? Hurry up and get in here!" he quipped, apparently quite proud of himself.
Carda had warped himself to Sosiqui's house for the purpose of sending his things back to his house and bringing Seraphim back through. After giving Sosiqui enough time to do whatever it is she was going to do, he partially phased himself back to the clearing and spotted where she had been hiding. He had then opened this portal.
"I don't have much energy left, so this portal isn't going to stay open all day, ya know."

"Gee, thanks," Sosiqui muttered, before stumbling up and through - and falling right into her own living room. Gratefully, she toppled onto the couch, closing her eyes almost immediately. "That helped," she called out, unsure if Carda was still there or if he'd just dropped her off, so to speak.

"Um, okay then, I'll just see myself out," Carda replied, unsure if Sosiqui could still hear him. He gestured to Seraphim.
"What's up?"
Carda whispered, "I want you to stay here and watch over her for a few days, okay? She looks really wiped, and I feel partially responsible. Just stay out of sight but keep an eye on her. OUT of sight, got it?"
Seraphim stood (if hovering in mid-air could be considered "standing") at attention and snapped off a salute. "Roger that!"
Carda snapped a mock salute back. "All right then, you've got your orders, get to it!" Carda looked back as he prepared to step out the front door.
"Take care, friend. I've got a teacher to rescue," he told Sosi, not caring whether she heard him or not. With that, he stepped out into the darkening evening.
