Has anyone here read The Glass Books of the Dream Eaters by Gordon Dahlquist? It was quite an enjoyable read -- full of mad science, airships, dastardly plots, &c., rather like a modern Victorian dime novel. I must warn, however, it was sometimes steamy in more ways than one.

I've never even heard of it, but by the title alone, I'm intrigued! I'll add this to my ever-lengthening list of lovely literature to leaf through (alliteration!).

Oh, yes, I've read it! ...Or, at least, attempted to. I only got to somewhere around the middle, because I had no time to finish it and had to return it to the library. sweatdrop But I rather liked it, anyway. 3nodding

I stumbled upon it in my father's book pile, and I spent a good amount of time drooling over the summary! I intend to read it this summer. Thank you for the reminder.
