Spring was here, the weather warmer than it had been in the early months. The flowers and tress were starting to bloom and leaf. Most would love this kind of weather, but with Kalista, her allergies pevented that kind of enjoyment. Her nose snuffed up, her eyes itched constantly and her only relief was to seek the comfort of a nice body of water. The closest one today happened to be a small stream that ran into a nearby cave. Perhaps a good shelter to away from her suffering symptoms? The simple though made her 'sigh'.
Her long white hair curled around her face as the a cooling wind swept through the area. Yet another welcomed relief. She hopped into the small flowing pool and submerged her whole face, ears, hair and all. And when she flipped her head back, the water arched in a semi-circle around her body. "Much better" she said blinking the droplets out of her eyes.

A light blue Ulaya hid in the darkest shadows of a deep cavern, laying next to the cave wall. A stream flowed in through the mouth of the cave, forming a pool in the center of it. Spring was coming, and summer came after that. He could see it, and he could feel it. They were the two seasons Aisu simply could not stand. After all, he was partly made of ice.
In the warmer seasons, Aisu simply began melting. These were the times when he had to find shelter and remain hidden for a fairly long time. Despite the fact that it was a fairly cool day, he didn't want to take the chance of going outside. Even with the mere light and heat of the sun, he began to melt. It was only his paws, tail, horns, claws, ears, his little tuft of a beard, and a few other places, but it was still slightly traumatic. Although, his reactions to melting were far worse when he was a kit. He shuddered with the memories.
A sudden breeze blew into the cave and a scent wafted through the air with it. He sniffed, taking in more of the scent as he did so. It was unfamiliar, though that was not surprising. Aisu wasn't exactly the most social Ulaya around.
His curiosity got the better of him and he stood up, sauntering towards the maw of the cave. He padded along the edge of the stream, his sharp claws made of ice lightly scraping the rock beneath him. Peering outside, he saw the head of a white female Ulaya. He could tell that she had long hair and eartufts, even though they were now drenched. 'Who is that?' He asked himself, his eyes narrowing so he could make out some of her finer features, for the glare and twinkle of the sun burned his eyes. The only thing he was able to see were her pink eyes, but then he realized that she had probably spotted him...

The white female shook the remaining droplets from her longer ear hair and flopped down on the river bank. Her eyes closed, relaxing on the small sheet of sand. Sure, later when it was time to move, the sand would be more of a nuisance but at the time it was a comfortable place to lay her tired body.
The sound of light scratching caused one of her eyes to open again in the direction of the cave. A mouse perhaps? She could only be so lucky. A bath and a meal all in the same place.
She figured out earlier on that she wasn't a keen fish catcher so she stuck to smaller pray and vegetation.
After getting to her paws, Kalista opened her other eye, blinking a couple times against the suns harsh light before becoming used to it. And as she glanced in the direction of the cave she could have sworn there was a light blue figure standing in the entrance. As if watching her. She narrowed her eyes at the figured standing there a moment. Was that the sound she had heard? And not her next meal? She debated on whether or not to approach to the figure, then decided, why the hell not? If anything, it looked interesting from where she stood.
She took a couple cautious steps and continued to watch the figure for any movement that it may flee or attack.

Aisu crouched, his head recoiling a bit as the white female Ulaya approached him. He pressed his lips together. What did she want? What could she want? Then again, it was a bit odd to look up and find one staring directly at them, so he could not exactly blame her for being curious. He sighed, scanning the entrance of the cave. It was shady, so it would be cool enough to walk out into, despite the hot summer day. He took a few steps forward, the front half of his icy, light blue body leaving the sanctuary of the cave. His light blue eyes, a darker shade of blue than his fur, focused on her pink ones, which contrasted greatly with her skin. "I guess there's no use in hiding any longer..." He finally said with a slight bow of his head. "My apologies for staring..."
