Seashell Encrusted Bookends
Liven up your bookshelves!
We all have books and we all need bookends. Why not try these beautiful seashell encrusted bookends to liven up your bookshelves!
1.
HERE’S HOW:
*Using the Elmer’s Wood glue, glue your 2x4 pieces into and “L” shape with vertical part of the “L” sitting on the horizontal part.

*When they are dry, start applying the seashells to the “L” making sure not to glue them to the bottom or the side that touches the books.
3.
*After your seashells dry in place you will need to fill in any gaps with smaller seashells

*Coat with Krylon Crystal Clear Acrylic Coating
5.
*Measure the bottom of your bookend and apply a piece of the self-stick foam (this will keep it from slipping)
6.
*Measure the side that touches the books and apply a piece of the self-stick felt. This will assure that your books are kept in perfect shape and not marked or scratched by the bookends.
