Emi quietly walked around the fort. She was looking for something, or someone. "Where? Where?" she muttered to herself. "I want to scare."
FlameFrost just trotted along side her. He wasn't sure of why she was searching for whatever she was searching for. He didn't even know what she was searching for. Hey Emi, what are we even searching for? he asked curiously.
A childhood friend of mine. If I can't find her then I'll just see if I can do something, She replied. She laughed softly when she saw FlameFrost cringe.
My bad, I called her a thing. The wolf continued to walk with Emi. So, what's she like?
She's really nice. Likes to plunge into things head first then think about it later. She told me a lot about the people at the fort. Did I ever tell you who the different people are? Emi said trying to pass the time.
FlameFrost shook his head in a no.
Well there's Riya the captin. Alister and Calla are the two sergeants. I learned about two privates from her. Let's see, Jeremiah and Christian. I know about Dave from his twin and Abigail cause she's my Patron. Emi took a deep breath. She was done explaining. "I wonder where where anybody is. Want to meet some new people, too."

I'm coming, I'm coming... Miri told Darkwind, who was outside their barrack. The sun was rising, and it blinded Miri as she tried to get some more sleep. She flipped around under the covers, and ducked her head under them. Hearing Dark's impatient growl again, she sighed as she attempted to get up. Get your lazy butt up, eat breakfast, change and let's go. Dark growled, with a hint of amusement and annoyance. Sighing, Miri opened up her eyes and almost fell off the bed when she saw the blazing sun. Rubbing her eyes, she got dressed in her fort's uniform. Why don't you get something to eat, Darkwind? Aren't you usually hungry? She saw Dark sigh and she got back the reply,I've already eaten, smart one. Miri sighed as she grabbed some food from a table. She saw the notice at the table again. It, summarized, basically stated to go near the outside of the fort to meet an old friend. She already pretty much knew who it was, but it was nice to meet an old friend again.
After several long, and apparently torturous minutes, Miri had managed to gulp down some food and water, and was now saddling up Darkwind. As they left their barrack, Miri was now squinting to see where to guide Dark to, even though Dark could probably know where to go. Sighing and giving up, she let Dark do the directing. So how do you think Emi is? Have you met her wolf yet? she asked Dark, trying to keep the conversation going.
Dark was very very annoyed with Miri today. She was being lazy, and sleepy from staying up the entire night before. It was a private's duty to be responsible! Dark huffed to herself. Sighing, she went to wake up Miri who was dragging time. When she had finally woken, Dark was mounted and they started running. She had a bit of a problem with the sun like Miri had been before she gave up, but Dark had managed to make the run by running along the side of the hills and not looking up at the blazing sphere of light. She could tell from a few scratching sounds that they were getting close to another group of living beings. Responding to the questions that Miri had asked, I'm pretty sure they're fine. Emi's new bonded wolf is a red male named FlameFrost, he's one of the new pups from EternalRose's litter. Dark could see the surprised look on Miri's face. I see them now. Dark sped up to where the apprentice and wolf were.

Emi turned her head to see a blue wolf and blue headed girl. "Hi Miri!" Emi waved happily. Look FlameFrost, that's Miri and Darkwind, Emi told the young red wolf. Her eyes sparkled with happiness.
Wow. I get the feeling that they're a really good pair, FlameFrost observed. Come on! I want to meet them. FlameFrost was bouncing on his hind legs impatiently. He really wanted to get to know the two friends of Emi.
Alright, alright already, Emi said and dashed towards the pair. "Miri!" Emi launched herself into the air to hug Miri while she was still on Darkwind. She had no thought other then to hug her friend. After all, she was happy to see the older female and her bonded wolf.
FlameFrost had to laugh at his partner. He trotted after the teenager. Hi, he said. He gave a grin at the older blue wolf. I'm FlameFrost. FlameFrost had learned his lesson. He stood at attention and spoke politely to Darkwind. HailWing had drilled how to act, around his higher ranked pack members, into his brain.
