After taking the last five months to decide, I'm going to go to University of Houston for my undergrad studies!

My brother is so pissed because the school that he goes to and U of H are rivals. I shut him up thought once I told him that I got a huge scholarship. *buahahahha!*

It's instate so the tution isn't too high and because it's still in Texas, I won't have to pay that much for travelling between there and home. Plus, I HATE flying so I didn't want to go to a place too far where I would have to spend a whole day on a plane.

Oh, they also offered me a scholarship so all my family has to pay for is my room and board.

At Houston they offer single rooms but it's just a little cheaper to have a double. Everyone on the floor shares a communal bathroom but no kitchen (unless a microwave counts xp ).

Ah, cool. Well done on getting a scholarship. Weird that they don't give you proper kitchens. I can't imagine going to university so far away that I'd have to fly there. I think it's good to be near enough to home to be able to go back fairly easily.

Wow. eek I didn't realise Texas was so huge. The university I'm probably going to go to is only about 2 and a half hours away. I don't think you can even get 14 hours away from where I live without going into another country. xd

Good luck with the writing. biggrin I always wanted to be a writer but now I'm going to be a Graphic Designer, which I enjoy just as much. 3nodding It was hard to choose between the two.
