Hello everyone! I am new to the guild, so I figured I would drop in and introduce the pups to you. Daisy is about 1 year and a half old now. I adopted her from a loacl Petsmart shelter event.

Juniper is the newest addition to our home! She was just adopted yesterday. I have no idea what kind of dog she is, but she is very sweet.

Juniper kind of looks like a pointer puppy,or maybe something mixed with a lab.

Juniper isn't in very good shape right now. sad She has an appointment at the vet on Monday. I noticed yesterday that she looked a little bow legged. Well today it seems even worse. She walks and stands on the outside eges of her paws and when she puts pressure on them for more than a short time, they begin to shake. Her hind legs also seem very weak. I called my vet and they told me I could give her some baby aspirin until they open on Monday. I feel just awful for her.

I am hoping that it is what he thinks. He said that a lot of shelter dogs, especially puppies that have beenconfined for their entire short lives, don't develope properly. So far he thinks it will work itself out with some exercise and care. Keep your fingers crossed!
