"Yes." The pink-haired teenager replied, eyes looking down at the ugly baby animal before meeting Sesshomaru's eyes with her own. Indeed, the little thing must have been pretty brave to bite her demon friend...Rini knew she would never want to do something that might provoke him. Even if she was his friend, she really didn't know what to expect if she did.
...A lot of things about him were a mystery to her, despite how close she thought they were as friends. They practically grew up together, but there were just some things she didn't know.
Breaking eye contact, Rini made her way toward the nearest seat near Sesshomaru and the wombat and settled down into it, crossing her arms in front of her chest out of habit as she leaned back. "How long have you had it?" She asked curiously.

Sesshomaru looked back down to the wombat after Rini sat, and took the empty bottle from it's mouth. He then laid it on it's belly in his lap, and begin to lightly pat it's back. In a burping motion aprently.
"A couple weeks. He's gotten bigger. He used to barely fit in the palm of my hand." He said, before looking to Rini.
"I haven't dicided a name for him yet. Would you like to? I don't care to do it myself." a sign that Sesshomaru did in fact trust Rini. He wouldn't ask any of the others in the house hold. Mostly because he knew they'd try to make it something cute. But he figured his childhood 'friend' should be able to help. He barely cared for the animal at all, simply did it because he felt he could use the animal later on in life. How could he pick a name? ... It required too much attachment.

Rini watched as he patted the baby wombat...and she thought it was odd. He was acting, well...fatherly-like sort of. And she found she couldn't picture Sesshomaru as a father. Ever. The teen always had the feeling she knew he was seeking to become something big and powerful, even if he never told her out loud. And picturing him caring for a young one just didn't fit his profile in her eyes.
When asked if she would like to name the thing, Rini paused. "...Well, give me a while to think about one." She said, unable to come up with a name on the spot. He's had the wombat for a few weeks, and he was asking her to name him? She could only smile inwardly a little that he chose her to make one up. Even if it wasn't that big of a deal...
"So, are you doing anything special for Thanksgiving?" Rini asked.
((Blah. Tried to come up with one, but I couldn't. Dx Give me a minute.))

Indeed it was strange that Sesshomaru was caring for something. But his excuse was it was brave enough to bite him, and that he could use it when he was older. But even if those where true, Sesshomaru was feeling quite odd lately. Quite odd indeed. He then glanced over to Rini, his eyes lingering on her for a moment, before he gave a slow blink to the question.
"What's Thanksgiving?" he asked, quite bluntly. That wasn't sarcasim in his voice, he really just didn't know. Last thanksgiving he was too young to remember the holiday.

Perhaps it was because they were still only teens that she couldn't picture him...or herself...ever being parents to a kid. Rini inwardly grimaced. That was one of the reasons why she left Kiita's house for Aceana's...she didn't like kids. As much as she denied it, she was a little glad that her friend's house was within walking distance of her previous one. Gave her a sense of security, she guessed.
House. Parents. Kid. Sesshomaru. Rini.
...Why had she been thinking about these things again?
Clearing her thoughts, she began to think of a way to answer his question. "Something to do with people and natives to some land. I dunno. I guess giving thanks for...well, whatever they do it for. Kiita celebrates it and wanted me to spend it with her and the family." She paused, "All I know is that we have a big dinner that involves a turkey. Does Tenshi celebrate it?" Then she wondered if she ever told him about her leaving the house yet...?

Sesshomaru nodded his head slightly, before he tucked the little wombat back into his basket, and covered it up so it could go back to sleep for the night.
"No, the only holidays Tenshi celibrates are the ones involving the God she works under. Says we do it because this one guy is an old friend of hers." She shrugged. He never paid much attention to it, mostly because he didn't eat any of the food. Holidays where pointless to him.
"Are you going to celibrate this holiday?" He asked, before standing agian, looking to her with his golden eyes that seemed to shimmer in the dark.
"What's wrong? You look troubled."

"Probably." Rini replied, standing up as Sesshomaru got to his feet.
"Huh?" She looked up to meet his eyes, then she shook her head, "Oh, its nothing. Just thinking." She added, looking away from him after a minute.

Sesshomaru paused and then gave a very, very faint shrug, before crossing his arms.
"Rini, listen. I'm going away for a little while. I've heard of a man who crafts powerful swords. So I plan to go sought after him and request of him to make me a sword. I've already got the fang of a very powerful dragon to take with me." he then paused as he looked down to the basket at his side, frowning.
"I'll have to leave him behind because it will be dangerous. But you are welcome to come along if you wish." He said, before his eyes peered back over to her own, awaiting an answer.
