Ok, so I recently got a new (well old new its actually more than 30 years old) french horn from a family member who can no longer play, and its an Alexander horn. The weird thing is though, its a geyer wrap. I've been trying to google information on it for awhile, and I can't find anything about a geyer wrap alexander horn. Anyone know anything?

I'm not familiar with that particular Horn. I have only ever played on Holton, Conn, Jupiter, and King Horns...I would try looking up the serial number for the instrument, or looking up Alexander Wraps in general, that might lead you to the Geyer that you are looking for. I'm sorry If that is not much help...

lol I tried the serial number and nothing came up (lol it looks like it was etched on by hand and not machine lol) I'm sending it in to get it fixed up on monday. I'm excited because from what I've heard this guy knows a lot about horns (he'd better know what he's doing considering thats the last of my work money paying for him to fix it up lol) so hopefully he'll give me some info on it lol. I'm really excited, because its in awful condition (I inherited it from a family member who left it in their basement for 15 years) so theres a lot of mold and oxidation on it.

I bought a 1959 Conn Directors Edition Trumpet from my step-fathers old boss, it had been left in his basement for almost 35 years. Talk about a mess lol.
