Here's the Story

The tale of Elemental Gelade is set in the world of Guardia where beings called Edel Raids co-exist with humans. Edel Raids have the ability to fuse with a human and become a living weapon, but there are others called Sting Raids who are Immitaions of Edel raids but are also strong. Most of all the Raids are hiding from or joining Chaos Choir and Arc Aile.

In case you dont know the original story....

Arc Aile - An organization that "aims to protect the Edel Raids, as well as provide them with happiness". Little is known of their true intentions regarding Eden Raids.

Chaos Choir - A group who opposes Arc Aile. Most members are Sting Raids or Edel Raids.

Pleasure - One who has Reacted with an Edel Raid.

React - To merge with an Edel Raid, thus gaining their power.

Edel Raid - An entity capable of Reacting with a human and becoming a weapon. An Edel Raid can only have one Pleasure at any time; to take a new Pleasure, the old one must first be killed or die of old age. Edel Raids are also capable of using "songs", which are the equivalent of magical spells.

Sting Raid (Viros) - An imitation Edel Raid, possessing lesser powers than that of true Edel Raids. (3 Edel Raids can finish off entire armies of sting raids) They are actually created with imitation elemental gelades or elemental stones. They are generally treated as tools by the Chaos Choir. Sting Raids are also different from Edel Raids in that they may have as many Pleasures as they desire. In the manga, these imitations are referred to as "Viros".

Edel Hunters - People who hunt Edel Raids for money or power. They are enemies of Arc Aile, who are sought out to be put to justice. Edel Hunters may possess an Edel Raid or Sting Raid(s).

Capturing Edel Raids - To capture an Edel Raid, an Edel Hunter must use a Sealing charm. In order for the charm to work, the Edel Raid's Name must be called out in order to be captured. When captured, the Edel Raid is unable to break the seal itself. To remove the seal, a human needs to take the seal off the Edel Raid. An Edel Raid can be captured more than once. Sealing charms don't work on Sting Raids.

Edel Graden - Where Edel Raids are born.

Elemental Gelade - A gem that is embedded on the Edel raid's body. It is proof that they are an Edel Raid.

Shichikou-hoju (Glittering Jewel) - The strongest of the Edel Raid bloodlines. There are seven of them. Said to be legendary. (obviously)

1. DON'T use chatspeak, yes, that means no ty's, np's, xD's, plz, plox, and all that crap. I hate it. >.<

2. This is semi-literate... check your spelling ( I dont mind a few mistakes here and there.) and have at LEAST three sentences per post. I understand writer's block but don't just post one sentence without telling me (us) you have writer's block.

3. No having these super ultra powers, okay? We don't want one person being the god of the whole RP.. alright? At least give someone a chance to be nearly as strong as you!

4. No auto-hitting. This means you need to give the other person a chance to dodge, deflect and such.

5. FOLLOW ALL THE RULES! READ ALL THE RULES! LOVE ALL THE RULES! >8D ( <-.-> even though I'm being a hypocrite saying that....I hate rules. I'm just trying to make things easy and fair. you all understand that, right?)

6. To make sure you read the rules BEFORE pming me your profile.

7. Romance is allowed, and encouraged (though Its not really supposed to be a romance story. Still. I enjoy a good romance scene) however, don't go overboard. you all know what I mean, and so if it comes down to that, take it to the pms. bleh! < >.< >

8. Keep cussing is allowed. Just don't overdo it, please. Don't have them in every sentence, alright?

9. I don't suggest killing, but if the other person submits (agrees) to it then you may...

10. Post AT LEAST twice every week, or else you will be asked to leave. If you don't post within the time, you will receive a warning before I become truly upset. If you must leave for a period of time, please leave me a pm saying you will be leaving, and for how long.

11. Edel Raids/Sting raids may only have up to FOUR (4) attacks/songs.

12. I'd prefer you to make your post decorative. That means, add pictures, colored text and such. It makes things easier to keep track of, and is overall easier for me (and I'm sure others) to follow. If you need help designing, lemme know. ^.^

13. I will add more rules as found necessary.

14. PM your profiles to me, Riokko_Flac. Label the title, "Chaos Malestrom"

15. There are only seven (7) Shichikou-hoju. this means you must be one of the first to join if you want to be one of them. You may reserve, however, if there is another who wants your place, and you dont report back within the next 24 hours, your place will be given away.

16. Have fun! If you have any questions/concerns, feel free to pm me. I know these rules may make me seem strict and stuck up, but I'm really open to just about anything ^.^ I'm very nice, so dont be afraid.

17. Please let me say, I dont want anyone using the Characters that already exist in the original "Elemental Gelade". This is "A new Beginning" Meaning that version has absolutely nothing to do with this one. Thanks!
