Gaia has a new event called Save our Shops.

http://www.gaiaonline.com/event/bailout2009/

the main shops each cost a 1000g donation to get items:
Rufus Cosplay
Ruby's Bonnet
Moira's Wig
Sasha's Lei
Edmond's Scar
Liam's Tank

you can donate atleast 500g to any of the secondary shops and get:
SOS Picket Sign

the whole event should cost you about 7000g to get everything.
