Future Vision + Any Barrier Statue
Future vision removes monsters from play when they are normal summoned and returning them back to the field would, or should, count as a special summon. Barrier statues prevent any monster not of the same element from being special summoned.
Therefore, all monsters opponent plays that aren't the same element as my statue stay removed from play.
Long ago, like a year or so, I thought up a field lock using all water monsters.
You think this would be plausible to pull off if it is ruled that returning the monster to the field counts as a special summon?
