In order to provide a boost for LunaticTokyoMoth's band roleplay...
The current theme is:  M U S I C I A N S ! Welcome to the Character Pic File! So what's this all about?
Well, have you ever wanted to join a roleplay, but you just can't find the perfect character pic? It would be really nice if there were some place that had like millions of sweet character pics, all organized in some way to make finding exactly what you want easily.
Dream on.
But this may be the next best thing! The way this thread works is i will occasionally select a theme. Then, people post character pictures in line with that theme.
By maintaining a list of past themes, eventually we will have a decent library of themed character pictures.
If you use one of the character pics here in a roleplay, give something back by sharing a picture you have in a later theme down the road. Or, if you just have a cool pic that matches the current theme, share it!
Just make sure you check out the rules first!

Rules ➠ NEVER, EVER, EVER post in this thread without posting a picture.
➠ If there's something you want to say, say it while you post a picture.
➠ If there's something you want to say but you can't post a picture, use the OOC thread.
➠ NEVER post a picture that breaks Gaia or Guild rules.
➠ Duh.
➠ ALWAYS post pictures that either only have one woman/girl, or that focus intently on just one woman/girl.
➠ Group pictures make lousy character pictures.
➠ NEVER post twice in a row.
➠ This is so we get lots of participation, and not just one or two people posting dozens of pics.
➠ NEVER post more than one pic in a post.
➠ It is better to have a few high quality pics than hundreds of low quality ones.
➠ NEVER post a picture that doesn't fit the current theme.
➠ That kinda defeats the purpose of the thread.
➠ NEVER post a picture that you're not hosing on your own photobucket account.
➠ Bandwidth stealing sucks.
➠ NEVER post a picture that's already been posted.
➠ Doubles suck.
➠ NEVER post a picture smaller than 300 px × 300 px.
➠ That way we get bigger and better pictures.
➠ NEVER post a picture wider than 800 px.
➠ Page stretching sucks.
 ➠ NEVER post a picture with writing or a logo on it.
➠ See the picture on the right for an example: see the pink writing there? Also, there is a little message in the bottom right.
➠ This rule is so we get pictures that are easy to reuse for different roleplays.
➠ Also, character pictures are better without logos, text and watermarks on them.
➠ IF POSSIBLE try and give the source of the image.
➠ There are several reasons for this:
➠ ➠ The source may have a better quality version.
➠ ➠ The source may different versions that may suit different purposes (like different colour schemes).
➠ ➠ The source may other sweet pics.
➠ IF POSSIBLE try and give the name of the character in the image, and where they're from.
➠ There are several reasons for this:
➠ ➠ If you know the character name, you can find other pictures of them.
➠ ➠ If you know where they're from you may find other characters in the same anime/whatever that are even better suited.
➠ ➠ You may learn about anime/manga/whatever that you might like.
➠ IF YOU USE ONE OF THESE PICTURES copy it to your own photobucket account to use it.
➠ Bandwidth stealing sucks.
➠ If you are worried about other people stealing your bandwidth, this is easy to fix:
➠ ➠ Every once in a while, change the picture's file name in your photobucket.
➠ ➠ Make sure you update the image URL in this thread.
➠ ➠ Upload a nasty picture - like one that says "i'm a retard" or "i ♥ hitler!" - to your photobucket, in the same location and with the same name as the original pic.
➠ So if you're thinking about stealing someone else's bandwidth... watch out. You may find yourself looking like an a**.

i think this is supposed to be Yuki Nagato from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, but she's not really in character... well, sorta kinda, maybe. It probly won't go well with other Yuki pics, but hey, if you want a maid bass player, you can't get better than this. ^_^; The full size picture is on sankaku, and is huge.

good idea... sorry if this pic is a bit wide.. and girl in center is the main girl i wanted to point out  according to the title and what-not, this is from the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.. i dont watch it so i wouldn't know

Time for some non-guitar players. ^_^;  This is Tsumugi Kotobuki from K-ON!. ( source - i modified it slightly to get rid of the bubble) If you are looking for pictures of rock band girls, K-ON! is a good place to start. You get guitar, bass, keyboards and drums, and there are tons of pictures of all of them. There are also tons of pictures of all four rocking out together, or in classic rock poses.

 This is one of the Prismriver sisters from Touhou, either Lunasa, Lyrica or Merlin - i can't remember which. Of the three, one plays the violin (this one, obviously), one plays keyboards, and one plays the trumpet. source
