has taught me i can help save the earth ,by not eating animal,it helps save the environment.1 cow=methane gas from 20 cars.also it's healthier because most the meat consumed,is a lot of fat and can cause heart attacks etc...that's just what i heard...i will someday be a vegan but my mom won't allow it till i move out...part of it is cuz she thinks it's too hard to cook for vegans.one of my friends a vegan another a vegetarian.Three of my cousins are vegetarians.so i get a lot of tips and stuff.just one question..is it dangerous being a vegan and also being REALLYathletic?

I hope these help.
Yes, you can be vegan and really athletic. Just increase your calorie intake more than a normal vegan.

It's not dangerous so long as you eat the right stuff. You just have to make sure you get enough calcium, protein, B and D vitamins and unsaturated fats. Iron too I guess.

There's plenty of calcium in soymilk, and if you eat tofu, tempeh, lentils, chicpeas, beans, TVP etc you can get all the protein you need. Using olive oil and eating avocados will get you your fats, but as for your vitamins... I take iron supplements every now and then which is probably a good idea. You'd have to research how to get B and D vitamins though.

It's quite easy I guess, since there are so many options available these days. Lots of alternative meat and dairy foods.

Yes, but it is worth it.
For the animals, for my health, and for the Earth. <3
