I'm getting kicked out of my apartment due to a renovation that they're starting on June 1. I have to be out by the end of May, so that leaves me a month and a half to find a new apartment and move out. WHY DIDN'T THEY INFO US ABOUT THIS EARLIER?!?! I mean, when the building beside mine was going to get renovated, they even infoed me about it and that people in that building had like almost 6 months time to move out, so how's it fair that the people in my building only get 1,5 months? I'm going to go pay a visit to this company later on today to complain about lack of information and ask them if they have any other apartments to offer me. ARGH. Great start for a great day. stare

That sucks. I know something about finding a flat in a month. Had the same sort of situation before...
Totally annoying.

That sounds like quite an ordeal. Man. If you cant find a place will you parents let you move back in until you find a new apartment?

I've looked at numerous websites today and applied for 4 apartments in my town. And if bad comes to worse, my parents will let me bunk at their place. Luckily. My brother gets out of the army in July, so I can bunk on his bed for a month, so then I just have to find some storage place to stuff my furniture in.

That might make my trip to school and back kinda hmm... long? And expensive. D: I'm almost over half way through my studies, so not much longer till I graduate.

Oh, but you do want to set up a new home in England?
In any case, listen to Hollow. While it's annoying things will be taken care of. And as we hear you already started helping you, which is good 3nodding

Well, I'd be pissed, that's for certain. Chances are that you're not alone in feeling that way, so maybe a good way to demonstrate that would be to round up as many willing tenants as possible and filing one big ol' complaint. FIGHT THA POWAH

I just have to stay positive, eventhough I'm already quite sure I'll have to move in with my parents again. If I had a free summer it would've been alright, but I start my internship on 1 June and my parents live a long way from the trainstation I need to use daily. D: And I've never really been a positive person anyway, pessimism all the way.
And I wouldn't say +3 - +5 with a hard freezing wind that makes the temperatures go back to -5 warm. D:
