Reading: pathways to bliss - joseph campbell
Eating: cheesecake.
um yesterday morning i woke up at 6am and looked out the window and my first words for the day were "what a beautiful ******** world."
joseph campbell says we must be transparent to the transcendent. my mother says i'm lazy. gabor mate says we use the word lazy when people are unwilling to do what we want them to do. my therapist says i should be more enthusiastic about my achievements. jean shinoda bolen says outwardly achievements mean nothing to an aphrodite woman. i say nothing, nothing at all.
sometimes in the mornings the sky looks like a dalmatian.
it seems like the more you vow to live by your own principles and values, the more people apply pressurepressurepressure whenever they speak to you as if they just can't stand to see you be your own person. somehow you're a threat to their very existence. i don't understand.
wednesday is the peak night for the lyrid meteor shower.
my local library suddenly decided that jungian psychology and mythology no longer matter and have drastically downsized those aisles so that the shelves are 90% empty space. i blame b.f. skinner.

too disjointed, I think? and it's not your usual style either. it's not really even a style i don't think--just like journal entries. hence, the point.
