He is the best author ever. Period.
Hehehe, Have any of you read any of his books? My favorite is actually his collectors edition The Dark Elf Trilogy. I like The Hunter's Blades Trilogy second most ^^.

He writes fantasy-action-adventures. And honestly, they are LONG! the longest of the collectors editions is... I think.. 1120 pages long. If you read the normal sized ones they're not so intimidating, but that also depends on your tastes.
But yea, I highly recommend him to people who, even a little, enjoy fantasy.

I think he counted his whole series of The Legend of Drizzt to be ... lemme check... 1,326,172. words. There are thirteen volumes ^^ in the Legend. I have all but two...*ish sad* I want to know what happens in the last two, but alas, I ish poor. For now stare

Woot~! Another Believer! I am also excited to read the books he has written with his son, Geno Salvatore.
For anyone who likes video games more than book R.A. Salvatore wrote a (short) game story. The game is called Demon Stone, and I got it for $6. It was made in 200(...)4 I think but maybe a little sooner or later than that. It's for the PS2. And also; for people who love Drizzt as much as me, you can play as him in level 8 I think =3 I was so happy.

akire1024 I love him, one of the first series I read. Haven't read all of the hunters blade trilogy, but I love all of his other works with Drizzt. I love him as well. I own the first trilogy with Drizzt and at least one other, and I've read almost all of the books in the "Drizzt" series.

I've never read his books. But my mom is an avid reader and loves him. She met him once while working in a bookstore.
