Kick-off events
My, my. A mere two weeks after acting on the selection of individuals I had made, already I have witnessed one emergence in situ, one more occurred outside the legis, and word of a third one has reached me through my network.
All four, five current owners are diverse and will hopefully provide E.B.I. with a myriad of new data on the development of 'free' Essentics. An experiment on this scale hasn't been conducted since 87 years before the Hunt, and due to the then widespread belief of the Essentic nature being so rigid, they never could have created the circumstances in which these five will hopefully develop in.
Elst, simply Elst. I have yet to retrieve a family name for him, but chances are he never had one to begin with. A well-defined environment and Purpose I expect from him. Apparently he is easy to observe... if he got his head out of his plants sometime, maybe he'd start taking notice of my agency's employees. I prefer it this way though.
Mister Willis Damont. A great risk he took in letting himself delve so deeply into the Spark, he may not know just how thoroughly they can search your soul in return. From Aria will not come any harm, but as we all know, the true danger lies within ourselves. I will no longer keep watch on him and his daughter 24/7, it would both provoke Aria and instil a great deal of distrust within the family. I believe for now it will do to keep my eyes and ears open in their environment and let Misha check up on them in a while.
Miss Lee Katan. I expect no trouble from her at all, if she manages to uphold the vow of discretion she took. To take no chances, I shall keep her under a loose surveillance, and I can tell Timka miss Longway is thinking of adding the checkup-duty to her workload.
Trystan Bishop Chevalier. Yes, the Chevalier family, in name as ominous in the downtown as mine is revered in the higher circles. Many of my contacts know of him and his legacy, the chance to 'ally' myself to him in this manner was too good to pass up. I realise I am taking a great risk in entrusting him with an Essentic, a Combat no less, but if the man's skills are even cose to what people tell about him, he should be fine. He is the ideal owner for that aggressive thing. Hopefully the challenges he will provide for it will keep it from wreaking havoc uncontrolledly. He also amuses me.
... and Faolan Grady. I guess I am lucky to have had him in my preselection on beforehand, or I might never have found him. Sending Misha after one cast away Essentic might have been a hassle, and attracted too much attention. Ziazan is a curious thing... I have never seen anything like it before. Of course, their forms all differ greatly, but it is a very free-spirited thing.
Mutated parrot my ***.

Give me hugs!
*juvenile scribble of sad Banning-person included* ...
... Maybe I should start hiding my journal. Misha's sense of humor is deteriorating a little by the looks of it. His spelling as well. I do wonder whatever gave him the idea I'm bothered by the fact most people dislike me, though.
Strange boy.__~ I miss him, still ~__
