a colored viola would be awesome! i would like lots of colors, but my top colors would probably be : green, maroon, black, light blue, or green.

I would make mine either change to my clothing color, have it change based on my mood (lol a mood viola!) or just have it black!

id have something fancy like. white with platypi and ninja ducks on them.
my friend has a green violin. her pegs slip ALOT though.

It's annoying when pegs slip. Idon't mind fixing them, but getting them to stay is difficult for me. I just have weak hands

a few people at my school have colored violins and they suck and always need to be tuned more often than the normal ones and by the time that they bought them.. they needed a bigger size and ended up buying a whole nother violin. dont do it. keep your violas brown. its nice. colors ruin them. and plus it looks really weird during concerts

A colored viola would be fun for a while, but they are usually really low quality. If you just look at the price of a normal viola vs. a colored one, the traditional brown typically costs more because it sounds better. I say it is better to stick with a higher-quality viola than a "pretty" one. DEATH TO COLORED INSTRUMENTS! THEY ARE A VIOLATION AGAINST ALL THAT IS GOOD AND RIGHT ABOUT STRINGS!
On a different note, one of the cellos in my group has a purple bow. The cello player whose cello it went with could never find it because Agenda constantly stole it without swapping it for her bow. My director got really mad when she found out and now none of the cellos are allowed to choose their own bow which made a lot of people really unhappy with Agenda.
