I love anything that has to do with Drizzt, let's see... Mercedes Lackey's Valdemar series is very good, the Eragon series, David Edding's Belgariad and Mallorean are stereotypical fantasy, Robin McKinley's Blue Sword, Hero and the Crown, etc. are all good. Tamora Pierce is very good as well, and so are the Garth Nix Abhorsen series.
Too many books to name that are just so amazing!

You stole my list. although imma add the Bartimaeus trilogy* and joanne harris' Runemarks. It's like all those fanatasy novels that humanize the greek pantheon but better and with the norse gods instead. o_O ok not the best description. at first glance it seems like it's geared toward a younger generation, especially because of the line the adverts and synopsis use, "Five-hundred years after the end of the world and goblins had been at the cellar again..." but the plot is excellent and where most novels in this genre have a peaceful enough beginning then something bad happens, everyone good gets together to fix it, there's a big battle then good wins in a gigantic climax, runemarks just kinda has that same plot climax near continuously. God it just keeps going and going.

*Yay foot notes!

I like the Eragon Series and the Golden Compass trilogy a lot annnnnnd, if you count it as fantasy, then Guardians of Ga'Hoole rocks! There is so much symbolism in there. Harry Potter is good too...

Gee silvery wolf, that's pretty strange... that you didn't just edit your post instead of posting again I mean, he-he.

Hmm, it seems more than one member here likes Eragon. I wonder how they feel about the movie... I hadn't read the book so I thought it was ok.

I am not a fan of the movie, they left out a vital piece of information as far as the series is concerned.

One of my fav books is "How to Marry a Milloinare Vampire" By Kerrlynn Sparks. She is so funny. All of the books by Tamora Peirce. She's my idol. And.... um..... Oh! Nerd in Shining Armor and The Nerd that Loved Me By Vicki Lewis Thomson

Hey Falcon! I think Wolf Sega is talking about Star Wars so I made a joke about it as well. lol

You're not the first one I read saying the movie was not so great but I guess you can't really ask a lot of a movie if the director is not the one who also envisioned the words written in the book. Some directors are pretty awesome though like, Tim Burton, Peter Jackson or even Chris Columbus. 3nodding
I hope I can be just as good a director as those guys some day soon.
