Rika- Dark Red
Wrath- Red
Seth- Dark Blue
Iiroa- #266aab
Kishan- black
Rika curled up in the shadows of a boulder on the side of a well used path. The fat moon above the trees cast everything in an eerie glow, pleasing Rika immensely. She girl had hollowed out a sort of waiting spot underneath the side of the rock she was hiding under so that she could see everything around her, but could not be seen. Rika had a twisted hobby, she called it dragonfly watching. She simply sat where she was, for hours possibly, and watched as other walked by. If some one particularly vulnerable looking passed her rock, Rika would wait for just the right moment to melt out from the shadows. She was pretty good at disguising herself and loved staying out of sight. It as all a game to her, wait till some one walks by, spring out and scare em, and then run away before they can react. What fun!
That night, Wrath was out and about, prowling around as usual. For the time being he was simply looking for prey. Something to toy around a bit with before finally finishing it off. Or something along those lines. So he stalked around the shadows of the night, keeping his senses keen to any creatures that may be in the area.
As the milky white crater shined above in the sky a young pup finished off his kill, his 'father' just taught him the meaning of prey. Nothing was better than the taste of fresh blood and the smell of meat against his paw. But.. he wasn't the one who actual killed the animal, it was Iiroa. Seth admired his father, it was easy for him to do anything he wanted, the pup wanted that freedom. He wanted the since of thrill as well. This gave him the idea, turning, he looked over the horizon. His black and blue fur ruffled as he padded forward slowly, the blood dripping off his fur as he does this.
The night was undoubtedly Kishan's favorite time of the day; his heart raced with the sheer thrill of the moon, mirroring his own, shining down upon his body. The moon... his moon. Wasn't it? That round orb in the sky was his. It was painted onto his own fur since birth. -His- moon was in the sky. Tonight, he was simply reveling in the shadow, pleased that the symbol of his power was in the bright in the sky, padding through the undergrowth as he stalked small animals. He wasn't hungry, but in their deaths, they managed to offer him some excitement, as fleeting as that may be - or as torturous as he chose.
As he moved on about, Wrath picked up on a familiar scent from somewhere nearby. He took in a deep breath and he knew for certain it was blood. Something had been killed not too long ago. The fact that there was a carcass around didn't really thrill him though, as he prefered to kill things for himself rather than to scavange around like a weakling. Though, he was a bit curious of the source. So, slowly he started to make his way towards the scent and before long he was able to see a small pup feasting away at some meat. Weak little thing it appeared, and it brought him memories of his first kill that wasn't for the purpose of hunting. He simply grinned at the feeling he had as he slayed his peer but shook it off, watching the pup for now
He was getting bored now, the small kill back there wasn't enough, he wanted a little more. Something bigger. Something to torture and then feel the pleasure of them writhing underneath his paw, like the last. No that wasn't enough for him at all. But in his current young state, he isn't strong enough to kill by himself, which is why Iiroa did so with him. But the elder had to retreat for the night, which is why he was left to himself now. The red moon seemed to chuckle. "Oh the dread and the boredom. I need someone to entertain me, Jii." Jii was the moons name, at least that's what Seth thinks, he still hasn't figured it out, and the smirking moon wouldn't tell him. There was silence... And neither would the moon speak to him often.
A voice caught Kishan's attention. It seemed young, but somehow it also seemed lofty... was it speaking of boredom? How could one be bored at night? He crept toward the voice, lowering his body close to the ground and lifting and placing his paws carefully so as to avoid detection. He had not yet managed to kill another of his own kind. The first time he tried... the only time... he had failed and barely managed to limp away with a few scratches. His prey, however, had been too large for him, a pup older than himself. This voice sounded young... perhaps this one would be smaller than him... perhaps...
For a moment, Wrath stared at the young pup, not sure who he spoke to. As far as he could tell there wasn't anyone close enough for the pup to be talking to. So aside from being weak it seemed this one was missing a few bits here and there. But he was right; there was boredom about. Perhaps the teen should give him something to do... Narrowing his eyes a bit, Wrath spoke up, but didn't move from where he was, "Bored you say? Shouldn't a little pup like you be in bed right about now? Or did you get cast out of the den by your parents?"
The moon on his fur just chuckled, it echoed in his head. "Damn you to h--" He heard a voice. It was liek a challenge to him. A smirk grew on his muzzle. This is something he wanted. Something that could challenge his little body, to see how much he can push. He turned his head slowly, a chaotic look upon his face. The blood smudged all over his muzzle. " My 'parents' are dead for all I care. But Iiroa, if you were talking about him. Had some murdering to do." His head tilted with a crazed smile now. "Will you suppress my boredom?
Kishan stopped. Another dragonfly had entered the scene... a male. Older. Much older than him and much larger. His plans faltered. There was little possibility of him succeeding in the first kill of his own kind now. The odds were very much against him... but he was supposed to be all powerful! He was supposed to be wonderful and unbeatable! He should try to take them.. he should... and he would win... No. He would get killed. Resentfully, he placed his stomach to the ground, crouching in the nearby underbrush to remain unseen, to observe what would happen. The dragonfly seemed strangers to one another, but there was a tense heat to the air between them that was more than just strangers chancing upon one another at night. Perhaps... perhaps this was his power in work. Perhaps these two came together to kill one another, by his own will of death. Perhaps they would fight, and at his position, unnoticed, he would come out at just the right opportunity to finish them off. Yes. Surely this was a chance sent to him to finally manage the kill he so longed for.
"Oh?" WEll this was going to be amusing. It seemed that this pup before him had a bit of spunk to him. It made him wonder if this was how Kayle felt when the elder found him. Currently unaware of the bystander hiding in the bushes, he focused his attention on the one here. "What is he out 'murdering' butterflies?" For a few moments he stared at the crazed smile the younger dragonfly gave him. This should definitely prove to be interesting, "I was about to ask you the same thing pup."
He stalked forward with ease on the paws of his, he didn't have enough stabilization to walk on his hind legs like the teen in front of him, but it was alright, as long as the claws holding down to the ground was as sharp as those metal objects he's seen, everything will be fine. "No... Not butterflies, others. Like us. Dragonflie-- Shut up Jii I have enough time to waste with this weakling." His eyes narrowed down at the moon shining in his fur, but then it went straight back up to the one ahead of him. "Let's get started then." The crazed smile seems to have gotten a little more creepier than before.
The heat and wrath in the air was escalating to the point where Kishan felt himself becoming rabid with desire. He wanted to leap from the bushes and maul at them, swing his claws at their faces and sink his teeth into their flesh. It took every ounce of his resolve to stay within the underbrush, watching. The show was proving amusing so far... But just amusing... just amusing would get old soon enough. He needed something more. He wanted to see the two fight and bring about each others' blood. For how, he settled simply with the nights own moisture, seeping through his fur and coating his body in a wetness much like blood.
With a grin, Wrath found himself amused with the reaction of this pup. So he thought he could actually take him on? And he also went on with talking to this... Jii person... "WEakling? Boy. the only weakling here is you." he laughed before crouching down "What are you going to do? Bite my kneecaps off?"
He was beginning to get bored again. All this talk of weakling from the other's mouth. Oh that was not fun. It was very annoying. Letting out a sigh his eyes dulled and he rolled them. "You're becoming too boring now. Can you just shut up and fight? I didn't come here to listen to some clueless fools nasty disgusting voice. I cam for the delicious taste of blood and meat. So either fight or leave my site."
"Heh. Your wish pup." Grinning, Wrath noted a slight hint of annoyance in the other dragonfly's voice. Not exactly what he wanted but he figured he might be able to push things some. His fur bristled a bit before he lunged out to swipe at the pup with his right paw.
Seth starred at wrath while he spoke and ended up moving too late, the other's claw scrapped his shoulder. Seth let out a yelp of pain, some blood flowing out of his shoulder and making him grin madly again. "This is what I came out for." he bared his teeth and ran towards Wrath, baring them at him and trying to bit him
Wrath felt his paw clawing against the pup's body, and it felt rather satisfying. While this kid was no prey creature, this was still ammusing nonetheless. "There's more where that came from you little ****er!" The teen hopped back to avoid the younger dragonfly's attack before making another swipe at the boy.
But just before he made the swipe, a large object blocked Seth and took it. "Oh. Poor baby. You can't even defend your self yet, can you Seth." A growl erupted through the large being and he punted Seth as side as he snarled at Wrath. His voice was deep and angry. "I didn't even get to fill my Murder quo today, but maybe if I get you I'll forgive myself."
To his surprise, this time his paw hit something that was much larger than the little pup. Looking up, he found himself staring at an elder, and he did not look all too happy at all. In fact, the older dragonfly seemed rather pissed. "Now that's what I like to see..." he uttered before staring up at the elder defiantly, "So you're the butterfly kill hm? You're a ****ing fool to think you can kill me."
He growled lightly and pushed Wrath down o the ground. "Don't mess with me a*****e. I've killed bears larger than you. You can't handle my strength, nor my power." He smirked and extracted a claw, placing it on top of Wrath. "DO you really want to see my power."
Rika was a patient child, she knew what it meant to ~truly~ lie in wait for prey to come by. Suddenly, she heard a rustling in the brambles ahead of her and readied herself in case if was a dragonfly. But, just as quickly as she had gotten excited, Rika lay back down with a mental huff. It was only a mouse, a fat one at that. She wasn't hungry, and the thing looked so stupid she didn't want to waste her time getting up and killing it. With a disappointed sigh, Rika settled back into her nook and was about to go to sleep when she heard scuffling not to far away from her rock, followed by the scent of blood, dragonfly blood. Rika's face scrunched in disgust, she disliked that smell, it was gross and sour. She didn't mind the blood itself, but getting it out of her fur was a pain. But, still, there was some one out there, and Rika wasn't going to pass up the chance to laugh as some stupid pup that got itself tangled in a bramble bush. Wriggling her way out of her rock, Rika shook the dirt out of her pelt and went over herself with her tongue to work some of the kinks out of her fur. She wasn't about to show herself to someone and look ridiculous, then what would be the point of making fun of them?! She padded forward with a smirk playing on her face, wondering just what sort of trouble this mystery dragonfly must have gotten into to have shed blood. The scene she came upon was not what she expected....
With a grin, Wrath stared up at the elder, not intimidated by his threats. "I've seen the power of elders. And I've felt it against me as well. By those who are stronger than some pansy a** butterfly killer," he said while narrowing his eyes, "I might not be able to fight you as an equal, but I know sure as hell that I can take what you throw at me."
He pulls back and extends his claws, each one glinting in the night as he growls deeply at the teen. I doubt you have seen the power that I posess. Mine is not like any other. It's unique and fatal. Don't try me, weakling.
Rika quirked an eyebrow, and laughed, stepping into the moonlight. In front of her was a hilarious scene. Some stupid teen had vexed an elder who seemed intent on killing him. Heck, maybe the teen had a death wish?! And off to the side was another boy, a pup, who seemed to have been pushed out of the way by the great big scary elder. She chuckled and mumbled loudly, "Boys... typical... You always have to beat up on some one to make sure the world knows you're the biggest and the baddest. And gods help the one being beaten up, they are usually weak or just stupid for getting in a fight they can't handle..." Rika looked up at the elder and raised her eyebrows, calculating how far she can push her joke without ending up being under his claws as well....
For a few moments, Wrath stared at the claws of the elder, but just snarled in return. "Oh. I've encountered stuff fatal in their own right. You really aren't that special you know," he said before hearing a feminine voice from nearby. He didn't take his gaze off of the elder though. "I may be weaker than the elder, but I sure as hell can handle this."
Seth snickered at the teen's position before flinching at Jii's voice in his head. It spoke with fury an hatred at Iiroa, but he couldn't figure out why. And then a woman came into the scene, ugh. Who can handle something like that too? Hopefully Iiroa will get her after that nasty teen.
Iiroa flexed his claws slowly, and while he does this, a small shadow formed in between his.. .. fingers? It was pulsing in his hand, and some of the energy from the grass, they began to fade at the feel of this energy ball. He heard the little female pup but just ignored her and kept his concentration on the teen.
Rika giggled at Wrath's reply to her comment and sighed, "And I guess they are right when they say girls mature faster than boys. Have you noticed that he is toying with you? You'd be dead by now if he wanted you to be..." Taking the time she was given by everyone's disinterest in her, Rika peered about herself some more, examining the scene. It wasn't really like her to stay in the light for a long time, but, heck she had nothing better to do. Gazing at the other pup out of the corner of her eye, she noted he had a moon on his pelt, just like she did. But, the face on his was different. It didn't matter, hers looked better. Then she looked over at Iiroa again and noticed something going on around his paw, like the shadows were moving. Rika rolled her eyes and shook her head, she couldn't understand why he was so interested in the teen. Was the boy's opinion really that important that the elder had to actually use his power to prove a point?
