((Continued from scene started on the Beach))
Llune wandered along the edge of the beach, oblivious to Peyote's whereabouts, as she was paying her full attention to the wavedancer that was, for some reason, fully focused on her. Ah well.
When it seemed appropriate, Llune would ask another question about the creature Zayn had been describing, or its environment, or any number of different things she became curious about as Zayn explained about the underwater world.
As they began to near the cove, Llune paused to glance over her shoulder at Peyote... Who... Wasn't... There...
"Oh, Peyo--" she had begun, but then stopped, "Oh. Ah. Well..." she turned back toward Zayn, "Nevermind I suppose... Would you like to help me prepare what we've gathered for storage? We just need to wash the mushrooms and other things off in clear water and let them dry a bit..."
Smiling softly Tidalwave nodded. "I would be happy to help." His violet eyes drifted out to the ocean then back to Llune. "It is good to be needed isn't it." His heart longing today for the company of those he cares deeply for. His normally stern sounding voice softens greatly as he speaks his next question. "Llune, would you tell me of your recognized?" He hoped that she wouldn't be to upset over the question. If so he knew how to drop the subject. Last thing he ever wanted was to make her upset.
It is at this exact moment a voice from the water calls to Tidalwave's mind. It is open so Llune as well can hear all that is said. *Tidalwave my protector, where are you? Not on land again I hope swimming up to that glider female. Tell me you are with the youth and will bring her to visit me at the waters edge.* She smiled just under the surface. She knew all to well where he was and what he was most likely doing. She did so want to interrupt something.
Llune had no time to become upset between Zayn's question and Airana's send. Instead she simply situated herself at the edge of the cove near the waterfall and began to rinse the mushrooms and set them on grass mats to dry.
"What is it that you would know?" she asks softly, her voice even and quiet, nearly inaudible over the sound of the waterfall. She fails to respond at all to Airana's open send, deciding to instead focus on her task and the difficult question at hand.
Clearly a frown settled on Tidalwave's face as his gaze to the ocean and question to Llune was interrupted. Kneeling beside her he smiled and started to wash the little springy plants as well. A low sigh as he sent Fathom a quick response openly, *What do you need Fathom? You seem to be in no danger and it matters not to you who I choose to spend my time with here on land.* The mental tone held all the controlled patience of a Father becoming annoyed with a bothersome child. Then his smile returned as he looked to Llune and said quietly, "Anything you might like to tell me." Now and then he would glance up from his task with the mushrooms to study her face. To be sure she wasn't in some sort of mental pain from any memory. "What sort of luck he must have had to recognize on such as yourself. The loveliest sky flower in your mountain I am sure."
