Rena of Higurashi YORUlCHl Rena of Higurashi I don't directly cosplay Code Geass, but I do a lot of vocaloid and other anime. I'm starting to cosplay! whee
I bought a Hatsune Miku wig that came in yesterday... but I have no idea how to make the clothes (or how to color in my eyebrows for that matter.) sweatdrop Well, clothes are pretty hard. If you're doing Miku, I'd suggest buying simple items (like the skirt or boots) and making anything you can't find. Eyebrows are hard though, you usually have to buy semi-permanent dye and be reeeeeally careful when you put it on. That's about all the advice I can give you for now, but if you have any questions you can PM me or something. ^^ Yeah, I got a skirt that I modified with teal cloth, and I have boots that need boot covers. I got some cloth to make the shirt, but I realized I don't know how to make collared shirts, and can't find any tutorial online...
There's a video I watched that involved a gluestick/spirit gum and concealer to cover and "redraw" the eyebrow, but I haven't tried it. I contacted a cosplayer (Ototsuki on deviantart) and she told me that I could cover my eyebrow with foundation and eyeshadow. *shrug*

And have you ever tried patterns like at a craft store or something? Collared shirts are pretty simle, but you might have to modify it to make it sleeveless. Fabric stores tend to have patterns too, like Jo-Ann's (I dunno if its local or across america, so you might have to find another one. sweatdrop ) But good luck! 3nodding

I finished the skirt this week. 3nodding
