I would like to take this time to apoligize for any and all misspellings. Thank you.
I've been trying to teach myself to knit, but have thusfar been highly unsuccessful.
So...do any of you fine ladies and gentlemen know of any good sites that feature pictures, videos, and/or articles on learning how to knit?

While there are alot of good sites to help you knit, from my experience, it's best to learn from another knitter. So I wouldn't get discouraged if you don't quite get it from pictures and videos.

For videos check out Vickie Howell on you tube. She used to be on HGTV, now you can find her on you tube.
