Alright, a little background to help you guys out. I have been with my boyfriend for a little over 2yrs and his family it Roman Catholic. I am Wiccan and my boyfriend is currently searching for a religion/belief system that suites him, he's looking into Wicca. Everyone in his family approves of me but his mother who thinks that because I am not Catholic and I am Wiccan that it makes me a Satantic b***h.

I go over to their house on every major holiday. Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve/Day, Easter, Fourth of July, etc. I help out and be a good guest because that how I was raised. However this holiday (Easter) I wasn't feeling to well and hadn't felt well for the past week. I ate with my family before I went over and my boyfriend and I started watching a movie. (His mother knows that because I know how she feels about me, being around her makes me moderately uncomfortable because she has a tendency to push her religious beliefs on me. For example: whenever I join them for a meal she with come and fold my hands whilst they do prayer to Jesus and God. It makes me uncomfortable. ) Anyways, my boyfriend and I ellected not to go downstairs to eat and finish the movie. His mother got upset and his dad yelled at us and once again we get in trouble.

This may sound like a rant and it kind of is but it's also here to give you all some back ground. My question to you is...How would you deal with your significant others overly religious parents during the holidays?

I honestly think that it is unfair how they treat you, no one should have to judge someone for their beliefs. If someone loves someone the parents should accept that, unless that person is being wrongful. From what I read you seem like a good person at heart so I don't really know why they do what they do. If they truly understood that they would leave the topic alone especially the mother. Some religions are so strict stare

It's not the religion that are strict, it's just that the people are too narrow-minded. sweatdrop And it's sorta unfair, too.
I'd probably just suck it up, let her do what she wants, if she wants to "pray some sense into you", let her do that. :p I find people like that funny - funny weird. xD Maybe you should've gone down to sit with them, even though you didn't feel like eating. Manners and respect, you know? Even though they're, like, crap? Then they'd have almost no reason to get upset cause you're nice, have good manners, and you respect them and their beliefs even though they act childishly like that. mrgreen More points for you!

To be perfectly blunt I'm surprised they let you into their house.
Don't get me wrong I'm not bias but...the last time I went to mass for my grandpa the lady who sat next to me almost struck me dead -right there-.
