The Thief:
Of the gods there are those glorious and those who are infamous, one of the infamous includes The Thief. She, known for her silence and speed, is the idol of rogues.
The Thief was never thought of as a threat to the other gods, but little did they know of her potential. There are weapons even powerful enough to destroy a god and so such weapons are hidden and guarded by the strongest of angels and demons. Such was the Chalice of Theed, said to grant powers to he who should drink the ever pouring wine from within.
The Thief, aggravated by the mockery set upon her by the other gods set forth to find this chalice. For many months she climbed the great mountain of Theed until she came upon a great fortress made of pure gold. She watched for three days studying the routine of the guards and upon the third night she struck. Faster than the eye could see she darted through the gates before they could close and into the fortress, and upon entrance she hid. From where she knelt she could hear guards speaking of traps and of the routines, she planned her next moves dodging guard and trap alike as she moved further into the fortress until she met the final room. The room was filled with jewels, gold, and ancient artifacts from times even when the gods were young. She moved inward and removed the chalice from it's pedestal. As she removed it she ran, so fast and so silent that the guards thought only a breeze had stirred.
And so is the story of the Thief and though she stole the chalice and boasted of her skills, never again was the chalice seen.
