She leaned in close to his ear. "I miss my mom too." She pet his hair, smiling sadly. She knew she could never go back to her family, her first family anyway.
Zeke covered his ears and growled. "I wish she'd just shut up." he dragged her back to camp and then tossed her in a cage, still tangled in the bag.

He gave her a sad smile and nodded "Well you have Maralah now right? Shes your mom.... you guys seem to get along really well. You can't tell you haven't been together forever! *frowns* I didn't mean to make you sad... I'm sorry. You can go back to bed... I'll be ok. I guess I have to start looking out for myself anyway..."

Kira tilted her head, still smiling. "Don't worry about it, I think about it every night. Having someone to share it with, makes it easier." she said, laying down next to him and pulling him to her. She kissed his forehead again. "And you are right, I do have Maralah, and she is very good to me. She and my father cannot have children, which always worked out quite well for them actually. No one ever expected them to take me, it was a big shock. They are wonderful people." She closed her eyes, that same smile still on her face.

He nodded "They are really nice. They remind me of my parents.... if...WHEN we find them I think my mom and Maralah will get along great!"

"Yeah, I'm sure they will. Mom gets along with everyone." In the dark it would be too hard for him to tell that she looked very sad. She knew it was a good possibility the Nelkar wolves, or the Fendar wolves had gotten to his parents. ((I don't think those are the proper names but I forgot to write out a list))

Amai Sakura-chan ::keeps trying to pull herway free, still screaming:: Zeke growled. "Would you SHUT UP!! My ears hurt." he muttered. A few of the others were whimpering and howling from all the noise she was making. That was sure to attract attention, blasted horse girl. She was so much trouble.
