Acropilis enters the gates of hell, and took a whiff of the smell of brimstone and Ash he was come to be accustomed to. With a scowl on his face with his sword drawn bare in his right hand, his eyes searched the blood cloaked walls and halls for the dark figure that he wished to confront. Then he noticed Lucifer, sitting on his ebony throne staring at his subject and with a concerned face. Then he said,” What’s wrong old friend?” Acropilis bared his teeth and hollered “I’m tired of this servitude, these pointless slaughters of innocent people; I can’t tolerate this guilt anymore. I’m leaving this damned court before I lose a single more once of my sanity!” Lucifer stared in utter surprise and laughed maniacally “You can’t be serious Acro; if you were feeling guilty you would have done eons ago. You’re being soft, my pupil. Just relax and do what I say and these feelings will go away.”
“You lie through your teeth, you damned b*****d!”
“You challenge my authority Boy! You’d best watch your tongue boy, for I may not quite be as powerful as Satin, but I’m by far capable of killing you. He whom receives his strength from sin and yet denies his own source is nothing”
Acropilis raises his blade and points it at Lucifer and smirks,” I don’t need your damn powers to help me anymore. If you haven’t noticed, the armor has its own aura along with the blade and after a while, they have fused so strongly together that you can’t remove the power you’ve invested in me. So lets go”
Lucifer laughed as he drew his sword and stood from his throne. It was a one handed short sword, about 2 and half feet from the tip to the bottom. The sword was an extravagant example of what the forgery in hell could produce. The handle itself was made of softer ebony made from what was most likely granite, the handle guard was a crimson rosary that laced and danced into the shimmering silver blade. On the handle guard was also mounted a red ruby and to both sides of the rosary were straight points that were used to support the rosary’s stability and provide a guard for the hands. The blade itself was wide at the based and thinned out toward the tip for better thrusting, and the blade was thinned around the edges as well. It was the God’s Bane, one of the Legendary 10 swords of Hell and was probably only second to either Acropilis’s cursed sword or that of Satin’s himself.
Acropilis drew his fine weapon (which you should’ve read about in the profile) and commenced the attack by opening his wings and charging at Lucifer at full force. Then he thrusted at Lucifer, but he saw this coming and parried the blow with a side step with a sword sweep. Acropilis, with incredible speed, rotated counter clock wise and threw a backhanded thrust at Lucifer’s unprotected side. Awed by this new speed, Lucifer barely managed to get away from the possibly fatal blow with only a cut to his bare side between the hip and the ribs. He opened his wings and forced himself away from Acropilis’s attack range. Acropilis laughed at the sight of even Lucifer running away from his attacks, but his laughs were too soon for the moment he looked again, Lucifer was not there. In complete shock, Acropilis franticly looked for his opponent, and a moment later he felt it. He felt a jolt of unimaginable pain in his side as a silver blade protruded from his back, and he turned around to see Lucifer in a Lunging position forcing his blade through Acropilis’s armor. Without a change off face, Acropilis dared not stagger, for he knew if he did it would be the last thing he would ever do. Acropilis then, grabbing his opponent’s blade with his hands forced the blade deeper into his back, and then he rotated counter-clock wise and stabbed Lucifer dead in the chest, driving the entire sword, handle and all, through him. Lucifer was thrown into the wall and impaled into it with his own black bale showing on the crimson walls. He removed the blade embedded in his back and side, and Acropilis screamed in agony from the immense sensation of rushing pain and light headedness. Then a burst of blood came out with throbs of immense sting coming in.
Acropilis could feel himself about to die, and knew his fate was sealed unless he could get out of Hell and receive treatment. He knew it was impossible, but his survival instincts told him to move forward. Then he heard Lucifer laughing, and complete horror struck him at that moment. Lucifer, lifting his blood stained body from the wall with the sword still embedded in his chest cavity, came moping towards Acropilis in a delirious manner. Then, an enormous booming voice came roaring through the halls and even Lucifer’s now twisted face was caught in a fixation of disbelief. A man, with twisted goat horns behind his pointed ears and ebony hair, entered the room. His face (which does resemble that of L from Death Note) was mounted with the star of the devil on top his forehead. He wore a sort of reptile skinned gear on his body which was silver and blood red with another demon star there. His legs were that of a goats’ and mounted on his back was a colossal Claymore. He stood at 7 and a half feet tall and toward over both men that stood before him.
The colossal man stood before Lucifer, and in his booming voice, said, “Who is this man Lucifer? Did he do this to you?”
Lucifer, in a feeble voice, responded, “He was my apprentice now gone rogue. He thinks he can escape here unscathed, master. He is an excellent fighter, but will you please let me use my real form and just kill this man who disfigured my glorious body, please?”
“No, you must go to the infirmary Lucifer, I will deal with this ‘apprentice’ of yours myself, NOW GO!”
Lucifer limped away cursing and Acropilis wondered what he had meant by true form. Was he really holding back or is that some sort of term he is not familiar with. Regardless, Acropilis went and grabbed his now blood stained rapier and tried to stand up straight in front of his ultimate foe.
Satin didn’t waist any time starting, he teleported right in front of Acropilis and punched him in the stomach, threw his wound. Acropilis stood in dismay and barfed blood in his mouth. He looked at Satin’s face one last time and the last words he heard were “You are powerful boy, but not even partially close enough to me. Come back when your stronger”. Then Acropilis was thrown into a wall, where he dropped, rapier in hand, and the quiet, peaceful darkness consumed his being until he heard a voice call him...
That’s all for his escape that leads to his bet with the Grim Reaper, that’s all for now =P
