Don't forget to check out Barton Town. They have some hidden eggs that give out gold and items for recipes.

Yep! I think the eggs are in every area up until Gold Beach. I've been hunting them down while doing the quests in the Aqua Duct area. Fun, fun, fun!
I don't like the fact that you need so many of them though, and they almost never drop recipes for me either. cry
