someone sent me a message of a site
to download so i can learn anime but
the messege isnt there anymore so any
ways who ever sent me the message i
cant download on my computer...anyways
i just want to learn how to draw people anime im pretty good at animal anime here is a pic of one of my pokemon animals that i drew..

i never got to color it in because i screw it up when i color it in...but im not quite sure if its anime or not because the cartoon is anime...plz help me...

it's not too bad...but I have a few peeves...

1) lined paper: your worst nightmare. Never used lined paper unless...it was part of the artistic plan or something. otherwise, blank is best

2)you need your own style. I guess it makes sense that you try out drawing pokemon first, though.

When I was in grade 4 or so, I was introduced to the world of anime, and the classic: Pokemon. But eventually you'll learn to do something original. Anime animals are basically cartoon animals, they're both the same thing. Just from different places. Just keep practicing!!!

If you need a starting point, try sketching anime pictures you see to practice or get some "How To Draw Anime/Manga" books at your library.
From there you ask people for specifics and serious critiques and form techniques into your head.

ahhhhh a pokemon picture. i remember mine from the summer...almost a year ago. turned out pretty well :]. well for starting, the best place to start is to just get the feel of the style. maybe get a few drawing books for reference maybe if that helps u. for me, the best thing is to have a lot of picture that i like the style of and go from there.
ur magikarp looks pretty good. it usually helps me to sketch lightly before pressing harder on the pencil to get a staighter line but what ever floats ur boat :]
but like wat Sachisai said, find ur own style, it took awhile for me but u will find it...trust me :]

WOW! Magicarp are REALLY hard to draw!!! I've been drawing Pokemon for years and I still can't draw it ^'^;;

What I do is I do searches on Deviant and PhotoB, Google etc. to see how other people draw them then I try to draw them like that. After a few drawings you'll start picking out what you like and what you don't like.

Just keep drawing and you'll get better and better!

yeah youll just pick and choose. I remeber i NEVER EVER drew ears before and they went good with the pics i drew then i started drawing ears. Through my time of drawing i went through like 5 different kinds of eyes. currently im on simple eyes. Sorta like dragon ball z eyes. ive went from long necks to short necks to no necks. It really just happens when you actually start. I know ii was horrible when i started. But i WAS in the 2nd grade
