More about rosemary:
I've been growing it and enjoying it for years. A neighbor stole my huge old rosemary plant right out of the ground. Can you believe it?! So I bought a little one and another neighbor gave me another little one.
1. They're both in 3 gallon nursery pots now. 2. One is in a sunny place. 3. The other is in a less sunny place (morning sun, afternoon shade) 4. I feed them kitchen scraps (coffee grounds, banana peels) 5. Both are doing great, more than quadrupled in size 6. They made it through the NC winter just fine. 7. I just pinch a little for cooking once in a while. Don't want to stunt their growth until next summer when they're bigger 8. We've had record rain here this Spring and Summer. No problem. But there's good drainage, because they're in pots with holes in the bottom.
Hope any of that info is useful.

You're neighbor stole your rosemary plant?! That's unbelievable! They could have just knocked on your door or caught you when you were in the garden and ask if you could spare a part of it.

Hehe another neighbor ratted out the rosemary thief. My 82 year old li'l ol' lady fellow gardener neighbor was so mad when she heard the story she wanted to go confront the thief with me. lol
Pumped up with courage from the pep talk from the li' ol gray haired lady I banged on the thief's door and demanded my rosemary back.
Poor woman was speechless with shock that I knew she was the thief. And I towered over her. And I used The Voice.
She just nodded, got the plant from deep in her house and forked it over, but it was dead from being yanked out of the ground and stuck in a dark room for a month, away from a window (where the True Owner, me, might see it).
Bet she won't be stealing anything else from me or anyone else. The neighbor who ratted out the thief is the unofficial Town Crier. I'm sure everyone for miles around has heard the story. lol
