People all like different things regardless of age. Some like it rough, others like it gentle. Some like it fast, others like it slow. We really can't say what your current guy will like. You'll have to experiment and ask him what feels best to him. Make sure he is comfortable enough to be honest and let you know what feels good and what doesn't.

I think that you should ask him and try it out or...just try it out and if he says OW than obviously just stick to soft. =]
