So, today, I was sitting in my friends living room with my ex, my sister, my sisters girl friend and her sister. My sisters gf picked up a jacket and said it smelled like someone who smells .********. So I reached for the jacket, and started smelling it.
My ex looked at me disgusted and said "Camille, you're really gross, seriously though, that's obsessive, and stalker-ish." (obsessive because I may have a small crush on the guy who it smelled like) and yes, he actually used "stalker-ish in a sentence.
I stared at him, "Obsessive?" I said, and then laughed a little continuing to smell the jacket.
"Yeah, Obsessive." my ex said like he was mocking me some how.
"How is it obsessive to enjoy the smell of someone else? You're just pissed off because I no longer have any desire or want to touch you, be near you or even smell you."
He looked at me as if I was right, which, of course I was.
So then we got in this whole big argument about how I seem like a stalker because I was smelling something, wtf.
Then my sister just had to say something, like always. "No, Being 'obsessive' is going to someones house, and while they are in the bathroom, stealing their clothes and whatever else you can find just to make a life sized doll that you can have with you all the time.
"Being 'stalker-ish' is going to someones house on a daily basis just to stare in their window and try to see them, or going to someones house really ******** early in the morning just to watch them leave for school without saying a word to them. Now that's 'obsessive' and 'stalker-ish'."
Then I decided, since it was my ******** argument in the first place I'd say something too, "Being 'obsessive' is constantly checking someones myspace, Facebook, Gaia, Ect..., to see if they've been online.
"Being 'obsessive' is figuring out someones sleeping, eating, pissing, computer, and work schedule, without talking to the person about it.
This is not obsessive." I continued smelling the jacket.
My sisters girlfriends sister kept looking at me funny.
So, the whole point in this story is I was wondering if I'm the only one who thinks my ex is a complete and total moron anyone thinks that smelling someone's clothing is "obsessive or stalker-ish"?
