Ok I have the hive (star portal) and gauntlet quest that I am working on. Does anyone have any tips on how to complete either one? I am currently a 7.4 CL.

for the hive you just have to go and kill as much as you can until you die, then you return to the null like normal. unless something has changed you don't actually have to accomplish anything in the hive.
for the gauntlet, someone must be a sacrifice.
One person in the crew goes all the way around to trigger the gauntlet. The rest of the crew head straight down from where you start. There is a little ledge. Wait there until the gauntlet starts and then get the heck out of there. If you survive to make it back down to the regular area then you have passed the gauntlet.

The hive and gaunlet aren't working for me. I must not have done something that I need to do yet.

For the guantlet to work you would of had to talk to the twins.
For the hive you had to talk to the concered citizen.
