 Bahamut could remember everything from his past life, but the one thing that puzzled him was how that he got here and not back to the Farplane to his friends. He missed them greatly as he did like his alone time but love the friendly conversations they would have. He liked his housemates even the one that was scared of him when he first arrived, he didn’t know what to about it. So he thought it was best to wander around to figure things out for himself and for the fact that he wanted to find what had the nagging feeling that there was something here from the Farplane. He liked his new form as it wasn’t as big as his old one that he felt that he would squish his summoner if he stepped in the wrong direction, but he was the largest Kistu at his home. The objective of his wandering today was that he heard that there was HQ by one of his housemates that there is some good strong stuff to drink and other interesting things there as well. So finding out where it was as it has been a long time since he had a good stiff drink. Bahamut thought it would be good for a walk as well as he was still getting use to his new body and glad that he had one tail, instead of three. Getting nearer to HQ he could smell that others did frequent this place as well. He thought that he might find someone to talk with as well.

 It was a rather lovely day with spring rolling full-tilt back into the Realm. Sunshine, budding plants, and lots of little animals busying themselves after a long winter all made the half-Aeon break into a bright smile. Her tails swayed merrily behind her as her booted hind feet followed her red-tipped forpaws down the path toward the HQ to see Andy... or whoever else she might find. Turan was never above making new friends! She paused all motion suddenly except for the lifting of her ears and a slightly curious tilt of her head as a strange feeling struck her. It was... sort of like the feeling she got around her family or when she was in the Zanarkand behind the magic door. It felt most similar to her mother... but it was... different. She had been told that her "uncle" Ifrit was around somewhere... he hadn't been home for a very long time now. Perhaps it was him? Compelled by curiosity and the chance of meeting someone else from her "family" that she hadn't encountered yet led her to turn from the side-path she followed toward the direction of the feeling. And though her steps were swift and light enough to make little sound the bangles on her front leg jingled a merry rythym as she went. She'd just about made up her mind that it must be Ifrit and was all set to give the firey Aeon a massive hug in greeting when she actually stumbled upon who it was. Mouth opened to utter a greeting, it quickly shifted into a curious "O". Eyes every bit as golden as her mothers stared in mild awe at the massive, partly draconic form of the kitsu before her. Certainly she'd heard some stories about "Uncle" Bahamut all the time growing up, but that didn't mean she recognized him by appearance. Therefore when she found her voice again the greeting he recieved was a slightly confused sounding "Hello?"

Lost in his thought somewhat as he was thinking about home, when he started to feel that there was something from home and it was getting closer to him as he walked on towards the HQ. In his wandering he never really knew who he would meet, but this time he so wanted to meet the other and hope that it was one of his friends. At this time he started to hear a slight jingle of metal and his mind was trying to think of who it could be, but the one that came to mind was Valefor as his tail started to slowly wag and a smile on his face. It had been a long time he had smiled in happyness.
Bahamut's head cocked to the side when he saw that it wasn't who he was thinking of, but a very familar feeling that he had gotten from the other just confused him just as the other Kistu was confused as he was. Hearing the others greeting his mind broke out of its own stupper and disapointment that it wasn't who he thought it was, but was very curios to why she felt so familar. "Hello," he replied as he walked around looking at her as he tryed to figure things out. "Why do you feel like the Farplane and so familar?" He asked not careing if he was rude, he just wanted to know.

Turan sat back on her heels a bit as the other circled and then finally asked her why she felt like the Farplane. She blinked a couple of times before something in the back of her mind went "click" and suddenly she was a bouncy little ball of energy. "You're Uncle Bahamut!" The excited cry held an echo of the strange music of her mother's Aeon cry. This was followed by a happy little squeel before Turan latched onto his leg in order to give him a proper nuzzle and hug. Well, as close to it as she was able, considering she was quite a bit smaller.
"Ohmygoshmomwillbesohappytoseeyou!" She added breathlessly before blinking again and offering a sheepish grin. "Oh! I'm Turan! Mom's told me so many stories about you and Uncle Ifrit and Miss Yuna and..." She went on for some minutes about all the summoners and other Aeons she'd heard stories about from Valefor, the only real clue that Valefor was "mom" within her speech being the fact that her mother was the only one she hadn't listed by name.
She wound her way around his front legs once in innocent affection before stopping to look up at him with rather large eyes. "Oh... Uncle Ifrit's here too! Somewhere. Mom hasn't seen him in a while, and I haven't gotten to meet him yet... she thinks he might have found a girlfriend!" She giggled a bit and bounced her way back to her original position. "Mom said he tends to get really wrapped up in whoever he finds to protect so she's not really suprised..." She frowned thoughtfully for a moment before suddenly brightening right back up. "Oh! Mom went out earlier so I don't know if she'd be home yet or I'd take you to go see her..."
It was her turn to circle the larger kitsu and get a good look at him, immediately planting herself to lean affectionately against his leg when she got done. "Hee! That's kinda funny, we're colored alike!" She gave him another nuzzle before peering up at him. "So have you been here long? Can I show you around? I know the area right around here really well! If you wanted to know the wilder areas I can probably get Alcy to agree to show you around next time she comes to visit... Alcyone, she's one of my sisters. She looks almost just like Mom! Just the colors are different and she didn't get wings. But neither did me or Liberty... just Raven and Glaw. But that's ok! I can climb."
She was rather obviously excited to be meeting her "Uncle" and trying to fill him in on things... without really realizing what questions it was he probably needed answered before he got bombarded with all the family details. Still; she didn't think twice about sitting there giving her "Uncle" cuddles and wagging her tails a mile a minute. It did finally seem to have registered that she needed to pause and give Bahamut a moment to add something to the conversation now that her initial moment of flustered excitement had ebbed.

The moment that he heard 'Uncle Bahamut' his mind went blank with shock and just stood there trying to process all the things that he was hearing and for the fact that now he had a family family and shocked that the little lass was also giveing him nuzzle and hugs. He had always thought of the other Aeons as his family anyways. But it was still a shock as he hadn't been here all that long and wasn't sure if some of them were here and now he knew that there were a few of them here.
Bahamuts brain started to think as his body stood there. With all the things that he was being told in his own mind finally 'clicked' to who was 'mom' and it really didn't suprize him that Valefor had started a family of her own, as he now realized that his place was like a new beinging and he could do what he wanted and he didn't have to worry about Sin. As a flood of sorta forgotten memories came back that Sin was really gone for good and he was happy that it was gone and for the fact that he could do what he always wanted to do. Also he was glad that there was some other here enjoying the new life they were given. Also thinking that sometime he would have to find Ifrit and have a long chat with him.
He was starting to get movement back into his body as he now figured out things and was now aware that the lass was now giving him more cuddles and he just thoght it was so cute. Turning his head to look at Turan and now he did see some of Valefor in her, but it was the eyes that was a dead give away now he knew what he was looking for. "Well I see that you all ready know my name and its nice to meet you Turan and yes we are colored the same," he fianlly said. "So I take it that Valefor is your mother?" he asked, tho he all ready knew but he just wanted to make sure. He thought that Turan was such a lovely child and it was so nice to hear a version of Valefor's cry. Sitting on his butt he picked up Turan with both of his front paws and carefully gave her a big uncle hug and a nuzzle, before he set her back down and layed down on the ground with his own tail giveing a wag.
"It good to hear that Valefor and Ifrit are here and happy that thing are going well here. For me I haven't been here all that long. I have some housemates but for the most part I have been just wandering around trying to figure out why I'm here and were I do belong." he said with a little of his own soft aeon cry. "But you have fill that void I was feeling and why don't you show your Uncle around to your favorite places, if you want to," he asked as now he was feeling protective of his little niece. "Also sometime I'm going to have to see your mom and your other sisters too." he added.

Turan was very close to facepawing when Bahamut asked to double check that he'd understood who her mother was correctly. Silly her! "Valefor, yes." She offered a sheepish grin before peering up to look at the ring floating above his back now that he'd lowered himself a bit.
"Well I think Uncle Ifrit is all right. At least, mom says she'd know if he was in trouble or something. He's pretty much dropped off the radar but since momma's not worried I don't really think about it much. It is kinda funny though, 'cause he hasn't been back in so long and we decided to do some spring cleaning... we keep finding his booze stashes everywhere." She giggled a bit and flopped over his front paw. "He's got some stashes at the HQ, too. Stuff he brought over himself so he wouldn't wipe out the HQ's stock."
She stood and started bouncing again when he agreed to have her show him around. Yay! Being a tour-guide counted as a mini-adventure, right? "Well, over here..." She turned and started walking, taking a slightly wider side path than she normally did to accomodate Bahamut's size. "The pond where momma and daddy usually meet up at is over this way. The HQ's not too far from it either. I head over there a lot if I'm not needed at home, so I can see who's around and so I can see Andy!" Her slight blush wasn't really visible beneath her fur, but you could almost hear it in her voice. "He's my boyfriend..."
She bounded a little bit ahead and out past the break in the trees to where the pond was. "Tada! HQ is just a little farther," she turned a bit and pointed, "over there." She sniffed the air and peeked around for a moment before deflating slightly. "Aww... I guess daddy and Raven aren't here right now. I was hoping you could meet them. Not our lucky day I guess?"

All he could do was laugh as it was good to laugh as it had been a long time that he had done so and through his laugh could be heard his own Aeon cry. "That is what I thought but I just want to make sure," he said smileing at Turan.
He listen to all of what she was telling him and sometime soon he would have to go and find Ifrit were they can talk and have a drink. Smileing he would have to see if Turan would show him were some of this stash of booze was. But he would ask later as he want to spend time with his new niece.
"Yes it does." he replied to Turan as everything was new to him and he just want to see everything he could and to get use to this new place and find his own place in this world. He just follows her as she shows him around. Bahamut gave a chuckle when Turan said she had a boyfriend and thought it was very sweet. "He's such a luck fellow as you are very beautiful and very nice," he said.
Looking towards the drection to where she pointed he could just slightly see the makeings of a building. "Its ok, there are more days you can take me to meet them and I will tell you how to find me as well. Also once we get to HQ do you want to go for a ride and fly around?" he asked.

Turan couldn't help a blush at Bahamut's compliment to her in regard to Andy. She wondered if her newly acquired uncle would like him as well? Valefor and Alcyone seemed to have taken to him... at least in part. Alcy seemed fairly convinced that no one was good enough for her sister, and it both amused and touched Turan.
"Other days! Yes! And I should at least show you how to get to the Place from here..." She trailed off as Bahamut finished asking his question, little red mouth forming an "O" for a moment before she squeeled in positively childish delight. "I'd love to go flying! Love to love to! Momma used to take us out flying when we were smaller but now that we're grown... well, even she can only carry so much while flying after all."
It was all she could do not to simply bolt over to the HQ after that, though she paused when they got there to examine both Bahamut and the door before nodding in satisfaction. The door was made to accomodate all species of kitsu, but she didn't want to try and take him inside without being sure he'd fit... that would have just been awkward!
She trotted inside then, going to the main room, then the kitchen, the small library that had been set up by someone or other, and pointed out the "first aid" closet that had been set up by the Lupin family with healing potions and the like inside for those who needed them to use. There was, however, no sign of Andy. "It seems like no one at all is around for me to introduce you to today..." It actually made the affectionate little half-Aeon a bit sad. She wanted to show off her uncle!

Bahamut felt so happy that little void in his heart was starting to fill as he like his little neace more and more. He also wanted to go to the tallest mountain and roar to the world all his joys and smilled big as Turan was excited to go flying.
He followed her to HQ and stopped when she did as he was also judgeing if he would fit and he would if not just barly. He also folded his wings as much as he could not nock things over with them.
He enjoyed seeing the inside of HQ and even made mental notes as he saw the booze that he would have to come back later to have a good drink. "Well don't worry, I wont be going anywere soon and I can come and visit as often as you want," he said to her as he gave her a little nuzzled of his big head but very gental. "So how about we go flying now, its a little too cramped to spread my wings," he said as they were also starting to hurt a little as he had been a long time since he had to fold his wings in close to his body.

Turan's eyes got wide when Bahamut mentioned the small space was making his wings cramped and she darted back toward the front door. "Oh, I'm sorry! I didn't even think..." Shame on her for keeping him inside like that.
Once outside she waited for him to exit the building and join her, bouncing a bit at the thought of being taken for a flight. She might have fretted more if he'd seemed at all upset about being kept inside so long, but he didn't seem to mind beyond what he'd already said, so she was trying not to worry over it.
"Maybe I can show you where the Place is if we fly close enough?"
