Alistair sighed, "If you say so..... I'm sure that you'll find a man soon, just walk around the mansion long enough and you probably will, even." Alistair shrugged. The ideas of sex and sexuality no longer bothered her, however, she did not regularly engage in such activity.

*She calmly walks into the quarters, her hair drifting over her shoulders with each step. Peering around a wall, she examines the serene environment in a suspicious manner.* Is anyone around? *Sighing, she lingers on the wall for abit, her eyes wandering*

Hearing a voice followed by a sigh, Alistair surfaced to the main area of her chambers. "Hello.... may I be of service to you?" She blinked and smiled steadily. Lyra was relaxing in the adjacent area behind the curtain, recovering from her disappointment that, despite her words, was more than obvious on her face.

As Alistair stepped out of the room, Lyra sighed and slumped over in her chair. She still needed a bed. Alistair would be more than happy to share, Lyra was sure of that, but... Lyra didn't wish to impose further....

Alistair sighed and then looked back towards the curtain. "You're not imposing in the least, Lyra... you very well know that. Now, then, you curl up and sleep whenever you like. I think I'm going to go out towards Central Park for a spell...." She turned to the left tapastry and pushed it back to reveal a small closet. Producing a cloak from that closet, she wrapped it around her shoulders and pulled the hood over top her lovely crop of red hair.

With a sigh, Alistair returned from the city once again. Her bright red hair spilling out from any given side of her cloak. A smile was born on her lips, for it had been a lovely night over all. "Lyra, are you still about?" she called into the darkness of her room.

It had been ages since she'd been in her room, when last she was here, the dear little Lyra had been about, and with the emptiness left by the girl, Alistair had decided to venture out of the city for a while. But now she was returned with renewed love for her old home. Her room was dusty, the tranquility seemed to have left it...There was an odd scent to the room, as if no one had really touched it since she was here last. With a sigh, she set her cloak aside and began to clean the room. Moving to the sink to draw some water into a rag. It would be a few hours at least before she would have the room back to how she preferred it to be.

Within the limits of what a year could do to the room, it looked much the same as it had when she left this place. Alistair must have tidied the room. "Is it nice to be back here in New York? You were only here for a short while last time, I wondered how you fared abroad."
Lyra moved across the room in fluid motions. She did not scurry, she did not scuttle, she glided and she was magnificent. Smiling back at Alistair, she dropped her jacket on floor next to a cushion and proceeded to seat herself. "Will you not join me, my dear?"

"Of course, I was just admiring the view for a moment. So, my darling, tell me, what have you been up to in the last year and a half? I most of that time, and when I was awake, Europe was lovely. I spent most of the time in London with some of our dear, old fiends." Alistair smiled as she seated herself near Lyra, waiting for her to divulge your past year's activities. A year wasn't a lot time to immortals,but they had seen each other for but a few days before Lyra vanished again and now was her chance to spend time with her dearest friend.
