Oddly enough, the party in that picture is the exact party I use.

I watched a video on youtube about the dream devourer battle, just to see what it was all about. It looked tough, but it's TOTALLY worth it to get Crono's most awesome weapon. I hope when I beat the game that I'll be prepared to fight that battle.

I think they did a great job on it. I'm still playing mine. I'm going to try more challenging things for it like low level boss battles or something like that.

Hi Im late. but yes I loved this version of the boss. Schala was the center insted of kid. It is awsome.

I loved the Dream Devourer. I may have been a little low leveled when I fought it, but I did beat it with Chrono, Marle, and Lucca. I used that party through all of the extra content.

I liked how they tied the story of Chrono Cross to Chrono Trigger through the extra content, with Dalton mentioning how Guardia will fall (in the 1000 A.D. Dimensional Vortex) and the Dream Devourer being just like the Time Devourer (just a different name).

I think that the Crimson Shade (the one of Lucca) was the hardest hardest fight in the vortex, but only because the Eggsterminator was helping.
