May- The month of May, I'm going to try out our first guild event. Since it's right around Prom season for everyone, I thought it would be fun to hold a little Ball for everyone to mingle and get to know each others characters. All the forums will still be open, but the graveyard will be the only location of the ball, all other forums will stay the same. While we still have a month in advance, any suggestions or feedback will be loved, since I haven't done something like this before, and the very idea was a suggestion from someone.

I have a really good idea!
When graduation comes around in June, we should hold our own little graduation! Then, we do a white elephant gift exchange, kinda-ish. Like, assign the graduates numbers (i.e. Dragonfly (1) Grammar (2) Monkey (3), ect). And since you can put a high and low, it can be however people there are. Then, they each roll a number on their posts and whichever number they get, they give a grad. present! Though, there should be a cost limit like up to 5k.
Then, everyone can celebrate because they're finally out of high school/college! It can be annual too! Unless of course, no one graduates that year (unlikely).
I know this year, me, Grammar and Monkey are graduating.

These two ideas would be cool n.n
Though, we could do the same thing for Christmas/Hannakah/(and the third one n.n wink
But, it sounds like it would work!
For the ball thing . . . I dunno. I think it might flop.

The thing with gift exchanges is, there's always that one person who either doesn't pull through, or just gets their person a cheapo, noob gift. The graduation thing is a good idea, but humans are not to be trusted.

You, Grammar, have never been in a guild with a guild event, I take it? I have. If people actually care about this guild, then it will work. It also helps give all characters a reason to mingle, (except hostages) rather than the people who just have one character, and aren't sure how to bring them into our threads. I am against gift exchanges, for exactly the reason Maniacle stated.

I am against mullets. I think we should just give the Ball a try, and if it's a flop, like Grammar said, then maybe we should rethink future events.

I've got some fun ideas coming in from GreyKirby, so it should be pretty entertaining if more than me and Monkey participate. I'm also thinking of opening the graveyard a week early, because I will be out of town the first weekend of May, and I think it would be best for Kameo to be active for the opening.
