a brief history of the Tenmado clan:
during the first age a young wolf demon named Getsuei survived the massacre of his clan and made his way to the grounds of The River clan of cat demons. After proving himself time and time again as the first guardian of river clan Getsuei's soul was shattered in battle, it is suspected the the demon witch Nandemonai is involved but, it is never proven. However during his attempted reincarnation in The clan of Earth she tried to harness his soul into a human doll called a Homunculus. Getsuei's soul refused this vessel and split from it. Getsuei and the newly born Amon had many bloody battles before reconciling thier differences and joining into one complete vessel; Shinzui. Getsuei's spirit was free to wander and guide the wolf through his newly born life.
Nandemonai had formed a deep seated grudge against the family since her initial battles with Getsuei within river clan and was not to allow him to live in peace. Not only did she imprison Blukatt, whom had been a spritual guide to the odd family but reaked untold havoc to Shinzui as he tried to lead Earth clan.
In a strange turn, Nandemonai assisted in the defense of Earth clan from an otherwordly threat. Isolated in a strange dimension Shinzui did the unthinkable; He mated with the demon witch. Miiro Tenmado was born of this union. Although Nandemonai had garnered Shinzui's trust she quickly remembered her grudge upon thier return to Earth clan and swiftly betrayed him in front of the young Miiro. Miiro picked up his father's sword and moved to kill his mother in retaliation. Having failed he remained in Earth clan as it's new leader, now with both his father's and Getsuei's spirits to aide him.
Trained in swordsmanship, Miiro lead the Earth clan well into the second age. After meeting his wife, the dire wolf demon, Yuuka he procreated giving birth to a new generation of wolf demons.
